Pretty sure I look into this every year, but I always forget what the consensus is, if there is one. Year one we checked our bags and they made it through. Last year we carried bags on and they were confiscated. Although year one we hid them pretty well, year 2 we just chucked them in the top of the...
If something happens in Miami I'd be interested too. There was someone from Calgary, we'd have to coordinate to make sure we didn't bring the same things. :)
Stamina is a big name in Finland, and with there always being lots and lots of Finns onbroad, booking them makes sense. I would suggest for that exact same reason it doesn't make sense. I'm going to assume the Finns, much like everybody else, don't want to travel thousands of miles to see exactly w...
We're going to Florida - leaving Fort Lauderdale February 2nd, stopping off in Haiti, back on the 6th. That was announced ON the last cruise, as it is every year. Don't expect anything in a timely fashion, it's just the way Andy does shit. I'm well aware of the dates, I meant the decision to go wil...
I know it’s old news, but I need to vent about this. I have an extra week of holidays this year so we were thinking of taking it in Florida and going to the keys or everglades or Tampa (or something). But if we’re not going to Florida I want to add it onto my summer holidays. So consequently it's mi...
Weighing in on the metal core thing. I find this interesting too. It just draws a different kind of person right? I love Parkway Drive, but I wouldn't want to see them on the boat. I saw them last time they were here and the crowd was so different from an average metal show. It wasn't good.
Last Gig: Bleed & Zimmers Hole back in May Next gig: King Parrot & Voivod on Thursday.
Then I've got nothing until Rivers of Nihil on July 17 and NeO on July 21st. It's slim pickings for me these days I'm afraid. :( And I'm not pleased about Nekrogoblikon being cancelled!
Ok I knew about Sabaton and Arkona. But who is H*? Someone I like no doubt. :) I've been quite happy after hearing they're ruled out, yes. And since that horrid excuse of a band, Arkona, was on this year, 2/3 of the worst bands imaginable are already ruled out. I just jinxed it, didn't I? H* will be...
Re: Your last gig and your next gig... by Sgt. B » Wed Mar 30, 2016 9:08 am Last show: Bane (early) & then Tau Cross (late) last night Next show: I think Metal Church on Friday Sgt. B - How was Tau Cross?? I didn't realize they'd been touring. I'd love to see them. Last gig was Anti flag on W...
It actually happened once earlier on too, but there weren't too many bands at the time. Well I don't leave until Tuesday so I guess I know what I'm doing at work tomorrow. :) I'll take screen shots this time just in case. Thank you so much for making this app, it's been really useful!
When the last round of bands was added I lost all the info I put in there! None of the bands have my symbols next to them anymore. I'm freaking out a bit! Did anyone else have this happen?
Did you check with your provider? Rogers has a roaming package for cruise ships. It's still outrageously expensive but may be better than what's offered on the ship.
Tau Cross Nightwish Ensiferum Parkway Drive Anti Flag (the acoustic one. I don't actually like this band normally.) Fear Factory Cattle Decapitation Melechesh Faith No More Amorphis or Soulfly, I haven't decided yet.

Dammit, I was hoping you'd bring me some of Alexander Keith's IPA and Red. You seem to enjoy them all the time. (just checked them on Ratebeer, and, damn, they have some super low scores) When are you arriving in Fort Lauderdale? Ha ha, yeah I do drink them a lot. Not because I love them but becaus...
Yup, you can buy duty free. There are limits. I remember we bought 2 bottles of rum each. They take it when you get back on the boat and you have to go get it before you leave. They said it would be delivered to the rooms, but it wasn't.
I had BG & GB back-to-back also. Enjoy Gogol Bordello, I saw them twice in town this past weekend. Great shows both nights. Gogol played twice in St. Paul? Were both BG shows there too? Ok, I'm admitting I'm completely ignorant here but I didn't realized you had a big enough market to support 2...
Last gig: Parkway drive last night Next gig: Blind Guardian in Calgary on Friday and Edmonton on Saturday. I hope it doesn't snow too much before next weekend.
I am going to back right up here. I'm new to Spotify. Where are you seeing 90 some metal sun genres? When I click on genres and then metal the only thing with mixed playlists is the popular playlists section and it only has 53 lists, not all of which are sub genres.
Last gig: Suicidal Tendencies last night. I went for them but stayed for a few songs of Slipknot. That was actually a pretty impressive show. Next gig: I actually have some time off now. Probably Parkway Drive on Nov 5. I am also going to "Bands as Bands" on Halloween. Local bands dressing...
SaraMarie - I saw your signature and for a second I thought I was looking at my own wish list. We have a lot overlap. You have a few I don't know though. I will be checking them out right away. :) 2015 was way better for me. I think about 1/3 of my wish list bands were there. It's been said before b...
Have you been to this venue? It seems to be getting some pretty big shows. It's in a really sketch part of town though(my neighbourhood!) I was there once for a Marilyn Manson after party, not the last show but the one before. So it's been a few years. I feel like it might have moved since then tho...
