it's not a metal gig, but at least an event
tomorrow, I'll attend the ski downhill race "Lauberhorn" tomorrow
I thought it would be wise to stay home with so much to do in so little time before the cruise, but we'll have perfect weather - and who can say no to a sunny day in the mountains?
last year, I reached the point where I just wanted to be in my bed; at that very moment, I was pretty sure it must have been around 2AM---but it wasn't even 10 PM :D well, that happens, when you start drinking bottles and bottles of white wine at noon and when it gets dark at 5PM...

there were a lot of surprises, but I couldn't really enjoy the gig because there were so many morons in the crowd
in the middle of the show I remembered that Doro opened for Motörhead in Zurich two or three weeks ago...and I'm pretty sure that those bullies, non-metalheads and bold guys were drawn from there...

in my thoughts I was already on the cruise; it's not like we'll be one family, hell no, but there definitely won't be that many morons to lower my mood
and if all else fails, there at least will be bewbs
    hi DEb ;)

There is a name for these bullies. It's called Nazis.
I had to deal with the same kind of fucking assholes for the Doro gig in Stuttgart in December with Motorhead as the headliner.
I was at the front for Doro and everything was fucking awesome.Afterwards i went to get some beres and go for a smoke. When i came back and Motorhead started the palce was full of fucking dickheads nazi's moshing into everyone and throwing the usual punches into people.
They didn't hurt me and i sent a few of these pricks flying but it's so annoying when you wanan watch a good show headbang and throw your fist in the air.
I had to oick some guy up on my own too because they knocked him on the ground and he nearly got trampled on.He wasn;t part of the pit but for some reason people thoiught he was one of the ones bashing into people and wouldn't help him up.

that sucks big time - no way one could enjoy a show like that

Last was 70000 Tons of Metal! Finntroll was my last show even though by that point I had finally hit a wall and practically passed out on my feet during it. Next gig is Gamma Ray on Tuesday. At least I can get some sense of the cruise back there

Tell me about it. Just for February I have Gamma Ray, Finntroll/Ensiferum, Eluveitie et al, and maybe Death Angel. It's really a great problem to have.

denver gets immortal, but no finntroll or death angel. we noticed in 2010 that skipping Denver seems to be the new fucking thing. which blows because we have fantastic turnouts here. we can't help it that we're in the middle of nowhere in the country!

well i guess we may go to 3 inches of blood...they aren't skipping us at least

Last gig is a given and hopefully my next one will be Finntroll, Ensiferum, and Barren Earth tonight but im not sure yet. Id like to see BE since I can imagine schedule all of their members for a tour is a nightmare.
