And I think Eric posts on the forum too. If not, he was definitely on broad last year.

This lineup is incredible. I didn't think I went to THAT many shows, but this'll be my 6th time seeing both Ensiferum and Tyr. Never had the chance to see Heidevolk. Wonder if they'll be on the cruise now too. . .

I must admit that this years lineup is looking really good. Last years Pagan Fest was disappointing to me. At least the first 3 bands on this year I have never seen before and that makes this show a must see for me.

I was considering going to that one as well - but it is probably unlikely. I am seeing Paganfest on the 19th then Sevendust on the 20th so I don't know if finances and time will allow me to go on the 21st too

Will be there tomorrow with my boss -- I think this is why the company keeps me around, I've totally converted him from 80s punk to folk metal.

Not looking forward to the San Francisco crowd again, but very excited to see Trollfest for the first time (and Tyr and Ensiferum for the 7th? 8th? time!!). This bill is perfect for me, my two favorite bands, the band I've had the most fun at their show (Heidevolk), our good buddies in Helsott, and a band I've never seen? This lineup rivals the cruise for me.

So I left early last night after Heidevolk played. The venue fucked up. I was not happy. Would've been angrier if I had payed for my ticket. They were still building the friggin' stage (outdoor venue) as people were filing in for the local openers. Everything was running way behind. I think Heidevolk said they were going on at around 9 and they didn't play until almost 1030. On top of that, the people at the venue couldn't get their sound system working properly. It took forever to get each band set up and by that time they had to cut their sets short. The sound was also very bad. It was quite thin and they just couldn't mix it right. I don't think I heard one song all night that sounded like it was mixed correctly. I hope everyone else has a better show.

    It's all McCain's fault!

I think Rachel is dragging me to the Edmonton show next Tuesday or Wednesday. I haven't heard any of the new Ensiferum or Tyr stuff so hopefully they'll play lots of the good, older tunes. If not, then I'll just get wasted and hand out fliers for my shows...

Bought mine from Blood & Thunder. Tipton will be joining me, and can actually come to the bar with me now! Ensifirum is his favorite band!

We will be there a bit late, due to a stupid hockey game.

This time I don't have to drive 2 hours to Cleveland to that dump, Peabody's. I'll get to see it at the murder house, Alrosa Villa. :shred:

What an amazing night. Off the hook. Got there as Trollfest were in the middle of their set. They were pretty good. I wish I could remember whom told me at the show that Trollfest were from Portland. Because they are from Norway...

Heidevok (sp) was freaking KILLER. Wow, I really like these guys. Tyr are one of my favorites and put on a great set. Ensiferium stole the show. They played a super long and tight set and really got the crowd (headcount 624 pagans) moving.

Fun night. Picked up a Pagan Fest shirt.

So excited about the Chicago leg this Saturday at Reggie's - amazing line-up and many great metal friends - both 70K and many others - I expect it to be a 2013 gig highlight for sure!! I dunno though - between the Paganfest line-up, Kvelertak, and Trent Reznor all within 10 days of one another - hmmm - might just explode into a million pieces or something   by the time April 24 rolls around (the day after the Reznor/HTDA gig).

Is anybody goin' to the Friday show in St. Paul? I'm thinking about flying in, but I'd need a ride/place to crash... is the show sold out?
