It does... But in exchange, I'm going to Brazil and probably next year's 70K. So it's a good deal, I'd say.

Nice, "running order" is up. For me, so far, it looks something like this:

    Day1: maybe Rising Storm
Day2: maybe Vanderbuyst, definitely Manilla Road
Day3: maybe Space Unicorn On Fire and Artillery, definitely Black Diamond
    Day4: definitely Metalsteel and Riot
    Day5: Sabaton for sure

Still plenty of time till festival, I'll check some other bands I don't know before going to Tolmin.

Yes, I'm having MetalDays as my holiday. One "hardcore" festival (the cruise) per year is enough for me :D

Yeah I'm curious what all there is to do there! I know there's castles, there's a hike along the river and there's a cave expedition I think?

We went to Triglav National Park with the group last year and made it back in time for a band at 1pm. Other than that Im pretty sure we took a train to Lake Bled and made it back in time for a 4/5pm set. We mainly just putzed around the town while in Tolmin. We did more touristy stuff in Ljubljana before and after the fest.

We need to arrange a visit to the gorges (Tolminska korita) again with all 70k people. Was lots of fun last year. It's only about a mile from the town, so an easy walk to the place.

Tuesday: Within Destruction, Gold, Scarab, Obituary, Satyricon, Vader
Wednesday: As It Comes, Deadend in Venice, Cattle Decapitation, Amorphis, Asphyx, Possessed
    Thursday: Skelfir, Benighted, Moonsorrow, Inquisition
Friday: Lord Shades, Armaroth, Condemnatio Cristi, Pyrexia, My Dying Bride, Suffocation

A couple of overlaps, but nothing too bad.

My girlfriend wants to see a huge cave, don't know the name. But I don't know when, because after the Metaldays we have another week holiday. So we will see what we do in first week and what in the second. I think Lake Bled is annother place I'd like to see. We have so many possibility's: visiting Triest, visiting my father who had an house in Croatia (near Koprivnica), driving to coast. :D

Last I checked, my running order looked like most others, with maybe 2 or 3 bands I want to see on the first and last days, with about 1 band on every day in between. A lot of filler this year, I say good on 'em for supporting upcoming bands and giving them a stage to play on, but it's a long way to travel and too big an expense to see bands I don't know. They outdid themselves last year with the line-up. Will probably give it a miss next year, I wasn't planning on going this year, but a couple friends are coming from NZ, so I'm mainly going to hang out with them.

Weeping Silence being labelled as Gothic Doom sounded interesting, but since you say they're a girly band I'm not so sure. Checked out a song on YouTube, video was a bit weird, will probably watch them anyway. If there are any doom bands in amongst the newcomers, I'll be interested, otherwise I'll just be floating around, and who knows, I might discover something I like.

The running order with set times is available. A few overlaps (Alcest/Beheaded, Benighted/Moonsorrow and especially Pyrexia/My Dying Bride). I get to spend most my time by the second stage on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (one interesting band per day on the main stage).

So, guys, all of you who are coming to Tolmin this year, give me a "ring" and we could meet there for a drink or something (if you're interested)
I'm coming with a friend of mine from Germany and we're going to meet some friends of his and some of mine and we're always looking for new people (to put it that way).

Cattle Decapitation's and Pyrexia's cancellations suck, but it'll be awesome to see Leng Tch'e again. There's been slight changes to the running order, so I'll get to see most of Moonsorow and Leng Tch'e. The only real grievance is that two Slovenian death metal bands Within Destruction and Armaroth are on at the exact same time. Never seen Armaroth, so I'll opt for their set.

The Android and iOS apps have been updated it seems.

For all the heavy metal fans I recommend Metal Steel and Black Diamond, both Slovenian acts. And if you have time, Space Unicorn on Fire as well, just because they sold most MD tickets for last year's MD and playing on the big stage this year is the reward.

Ok this is bugging the shit out of me. There was a song that I heard almost every night down at the beach bar. It sounded like some kind of German folky metal thing and it had a really catchy melody. It keeps getting stuck in my head but I have no idea what the song is! Does anyone know the song that I'm talking about?

Not a single band there I'd want to see. A few ok bands, but nothing to get me excited.

For me it's a good beginning with Moonspell.
