    Thanks guys and gals, I have almsot all metal in my collection. little bit of grunge, old punk and classic rock. ;) :mrgreen:

    Imagine a backup copy of all your CDs because the lifetime is not forever.
    15 min / CD means 750 hours of work
    8 hours a day doing backup means 93 days.

    15 minutes to backup? Mine backup in a minute or two but I see what you mean.

    Because all of us like real sound, you want to keep the original CD alive by making a copy but you also like the mobile format, you may have to convert your favorite as MP3. 15 min is of course a bit long, but 3000 CDs look udge, and wait a minutes : don't you go to toilet sometimes??? :lol: :lol: :lol:once a day or twice? how long does it takes??? :roll: :lol: :lol:

    not a problem ... have 'em all ripped into mp3s already . :shred: and i rip 'em as soon as you get 'em, most of my cds have only been played 1 time :cheers: :givebeer:

    I have around 700 CDs. A few years back got rid of the ones I didn't care anymore and gave them to my nephew(now a 13 years old guitarist and drag bike racer :D ).
    I don't listen to CDs anymore - thanks be to Grooveshark and iPods, but do buy them to support the bands I like.

    Nobody told me if I got married My C.you.next.tuesday would upon divorce take my music.Just seemed coldblooded to me!?so alot less now :evil:

    i got like 200 cd's and 100 lp's ... but hey... i got 200 gb of mp3's...

    and when i am getting married we will sign the no take me music agreement!!!!!
