Here I go, thinking facebook photo links will work. Long story short, my Epic Meal Time shirt got lots of attention.

That would have been amazing!.....I think I tried every kind of Mojito I could find in Miami....and I also tried a little delicacy called "Conch Fritters" for the first time and they were excellent! I would compare them to hushpuppies but with seafood in the mix...very tasty!...also had a jumbo shrimp cocktail YUM

As an American from the southwest I will state that the bacon on the boat was horrible. I've had microwaved turkey bacon that tasted better than that stuff.

I have to agree with you, it was extremely disappointing.
And as a Canadian I have to point out. We don't actually call anything "Canadian Bacon". There's ham, and bacon, none of this false bacon crap.
Eternity wrote:Actually, "Canadian Bacon" is back bacon, which Americans think, for some reason, is ham. It's actually rater distinct from both ham and bacon, but is more closely related to bacon. Why they think it's Canadian, I have no idea. Oddly enough, back bacon is more common in the states than it is here. Probably because they think it's an exotic northern delicacy, I'm not sure. And especially in Alberta, the supreme food is bacon strips. And bacon strips. And bacon strips.

The moral of the story is...bacon is bacon and there is no substitute.
