Not once yet! Will have to check it out.

i've seen so many great movies lately - many classic oldies (and some not so old) that I've had on my to watch list for a long time: Midnight Cowboy, Rosemary's Baby, Clockwork Orange, 8 1/2 (Fellini), Fargo, and others. My husband & I even watched the 1925 silent film Battleship Potemkin last weekend. I'd been curious about it since it shows up on most critics "best movies" lists. We have lots on our winter viewing list - looking forward to it - nice to stay indoors sometimes on cold winter nights. :D

Isn't that false advertising by the title alone?

That's like making an American Pie movie where nobody ever gets laid.

What did everyone think of The Hobbit? From what I've seen everyone that read the book hated it and everyone that didn't liked it. I'm in the second group.

I liked the first one better. Some of the additions were OK, some were not so good. And there was something incredibly moronic that was added.

CGI looks awesome and the movie is OK. Felt kinda disappointed, though.

I have been a fan of Miyazaki movies since 1988 when I was 4 and saw My Neighbor Totoro. Ever since then I have been mesmerized by the beauty and genius of his movies and his newest is coming out soon and he says it will be his last one. The Wind Rises

There's this wonderful cinema here in London called the Prince Charles Cinema, they specialise in screening old films and special events such as marathons and all-nighters. Last night I saw The Shawshank Redemption. Thursday will be Masters of the Universe and Poltergeist! Next week will be The Terminator and Pulp Fiction. I go there all the time, best cinema in the world.

I would recommend it to any of you. Such a bad ass movie and Eva Green once again shines as a true villain.
Loved her in the show Camelot.

Something different from Marvel for sure. More humour than before from the trailer that I saw.
I'm expecting big things from the movie since Marvel has been on a tear with all of their movies.

However, Winter Soldier is probably going to be super hero movie of the year.

My movie buff friend just showed me "Meet the Feebles". Ugh! I figured we'd been friends long enough for him to know that that kind of movie would never fly with me. I enjoyed the first 10-15 minutes of it's shock-value based humor, but after that, the novelty completely wore off and I spent the next hour and 15 minutes feeling nothing but pure disgust.
Honestly, telling the same "Check it out! Muppets doing gross depraved things!" joke over and over gets old real fast and that was pretty much the only thing the movie had going for it.

Well, the world was a different place when that movie was released. It was something new. Plus, it was really hard to get movies like that back then, so it was a real treat to get a vhs copy of a vhs copy of a vhs copy and what h with friends as a teenager and giggle at all the potty humor. Plus, the Sodomy song is a hoot!

I think the hobbit movies are entertaining as far as spectacle goes, but it's just not as good as the LotR movies were. There's just too much padding in them (you could probably cut half an hour each from the first two and it wouldn't change the narrative). Saw the trailer, and it was okay I guess. I'll probably see it though.

I kind of liked Frozen, but Maleficent was a much better movie in my opinion. I don't like Angelina Jolie that much, but she was great for that role.

After I saw "Captain America 2" my faith in movies has been restored. Watching all the Marvel movie including "Guardians of the Galaxy" last night. Been enjoying every movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The movie everybody should be talking about: Mad Max: Fury Road - Comic-Con First Look [HD]: http://youtu.be/akX3Is3qBpw

I'm not thrilled to have Max not played by Mel Gibson, but this still looks badass. There are a few bits that look a little too Michael Bayesque, but I'm hoping it doesn't infect the whole movie... I'm pretty excited!!

Just got back from Guardians of the Galaxy and i must say that is the best marvel studios movie yet. It was funny and touching and heroic and all the other good stuff you want from a movie. I will give this movie a solid 10/10 stars or horns your choice \m/

I just saw Hercules. I went in expecting to see cool fight scenes, some good lines, and Dwayne Johnson being awesome. I was not disappointed. Also didn't require me to think to hard, which is great because I've been thinking entirely too hard lately. Nice to give the brain a rest, you know?

Something different from Marvel for sure. More humour than before from the trailer that I saw.
I'm expecting big things from the movie since Marvel has been on a tear with all of their movies.

However, Winter Soldier is probably going to be super hero movie of the year.

Dude, nothing beats Winter Soldier. Winter Soldier got me reading Marvel comics and I have to say that movie was even more enjoyable than the comics. Great story, solid characters, witty dialog, but not too funny. The action kicked complete ass from beginning to end. I don't know how Marvel has been putting out one smash hit movie after another, but Winter Soldier officially has me hooked. Them name dropping Doctor Strange got me foaming at the mouth for more, and now I guess they're working on a Doctor Strange movie!!!

I just might watch this for real sometime. Definitely the most cartoony live-action movie I've ever heard of. You can watch the whole thing on youtube, but there's no sound.

i'm real curious about the hunger games movie 3 part 1
and i do hope jurassic world doesn't suck

any 80's (border 90's) kids here?
ever heard a theory to combine jurassic parc with dino-riders?
it was said that it was planned that the dinosaurs eventually got off the islands in costa rica
some ventured deep into african forests.
so ingen devoloped devices to control the dinosaurs the could places over their heads to retrieve them

i would definiately watch that movie!
