Went out with a couple of good friends on Saturday night for a nice dinner and a few drinks. Fun times, even if we did talk a lot about Laura.

I'm working on a mini pet project that I'm intimidated as all hell on (especially for feedback point of view) but I'm soooo excited to take on for myself.

    Stay tuned folks :bangers:

I agree Rhia!! I thought so much about Laura & Fredrik this past weekend because of knowing her memorial was on Saturday.

One of the things that gnaws at me almost as much as the thought of my own eventual passing (whether it's tomorrow or 50 years from now), is the thought of my loved ones being sad. This is natural and inevitable of course, but is a very unpleasant thought for me.

I often tell those closest to me how grateful I am for them and also that I've enjoyed my life so much thus far. By saying this, I hope it may result in them focusing on a life happily lived rather than a life now gone. ;)

Spotify Premium rules!! It almost seems too good to be true. After a 30 day free trial, I decided to pop for paying $10 per month to have mobile access (on my iPhone) to basically all the world's music (that I'll ever want & more) 24/7!

Yep, I love the pic - I don't think I'd seen it before this past weekend when Scott commented on it on facebook - so I'm so happy to know about it now. The full pic has gnoff & Ulrike in it as well. I absolutely loved those pink heart sunglasses of hers and as of this morning, I now know the story of Arcibaldo the pig (she is holding)! Haha - reminds me a little bit of Hodgy's Anton Evil Goat who travels with him. :D

I found the title to my car!
My mom gave it to me last May (she shouldn't have, I obviously can't be trusted with it) along with a bunch of other super important stuff.
I've been in Washington for 4 months and you're supposed to register your car within 30 after moving here ...which I havent done, because I couldn't find my title.
Well I gave up and called my mom, who said "Is it with your auto stuff." me: "No." "Is it with your birth certificate." me: "Why the fuck would it be there, it should be in the auto folder. why would i put it....oh wait. yea it's with my birth certificate."
Apparently she photocopied everything she gave me, paperclipped all the photo copies together and dated them the day I left...so that when I couldn't find stuff, she could tell me when she gave it to me and what else was with it. Because she's smarter than me

Also I just feel good about getting a bunch of important stuff done lately that really needed to get done! doctor's visit, Trusted Traveller program interview, fixed my brakes, fixed my phone, and going to register my car tomorrow!

I got to go skiing all weekend with 8 of my favorite people, so that was awesome!

It was warm out here today... +4 C. Yay for chinooks.

I had my performance evaluation at work. At least it's over with and hopefully I get a raise.

Got a really awesome offer to do something cool musically. I will have to decline, but I'm flattered anyways.

I thought I had lost my passport, but found it in m'lady's underwear drawer! Crisis averted!

I'm going to go get some pho then come back home and smoke some kiwi-flavored shisha and anticipate the fact that 70K is so damn close!
    See you guys soon.

30 days is way too short even for people who have a plan before they move somewhere!

At least in Arizona, the count doesn't start until you have a permanent address or you start working.

Name rings a bell so I'm guessing they've come through Vancouver (more than once if I'm thinking of the right band but maybe not). Off to do research on that but, either way, congrats and I hope it's a blast and everything you're looking for while still not interfering with any Gatekeeper plans/progress :?

Huge upgrade for me and takes up less than 1/3 of the space from the wall outward than the behemoth 57" rear projection unit I've been watching for most of the past decade. Plus, I got to donate that one to the house where I work so the kids there got a major upgrade as, even though it was huge, it's 1080p and in pretty great shape.

    Win/Win!!
So far at least, 2011, 2012 & 2015 were enough for me

Even if this is actually a bitch rather than a rejoice, I'll post this here to get the post count up on this thread. :D
It's snowing, again. Well, it's been a couple of weeks without new snow, but I truly hate this kind of weather.

10 days to go until we leave for Miami! Yay! :D

Name rings a bell so I'm guessing they've come through Vancouver (more than once if I'm thinking of the right band but maybe not). Off to do research on that but, either way, congrats and I hope it's a blast and everything you're looking for while still not interfering with any Gatekeeper plans/progress :?

Up til very recently they were from Vancouver, they're half way through relocating to Calgary right now but for you they'd be a "local" band.

I took yours out with a pair of barbecue tongs and shipped it on ultra-not-express through Boston, Paris, Tel Aviv, Capetown, New Delhi, Shanghai, Adelaide, Honolulu, then finally to Vancouver. You should receive it in 7-8 months!

In all seriousness, it was in a protective case along with her passport... for safekeeping amongst undies.

I'm afraid so, dear. We're going to have a meeting to discuss it I think, but it may be too much to put on my plate :(

Seats reserved for the AA flights LHR-MIA/MIA-LHR. Could've done that earlier, but I totally forgot they let you choose a seat already at booking (booked via BA). Well, got decent seats for all five of us.
