U of C has a really great business school (which you probably know if you're looking into things.)
The one at U of A aint so bad either.

What other schools you looking at? The ones in BC?

I loved BC when I drove through there, but I didn't see any schools I liked. So U of Calgary and U of Alberta are my top Canadian choices.

I did by BSc at UofA; it's a great school and the surrounding area is super awesome.

I'd say Calgary is a better city overall... higher standard of living and such.. but the Uni is up in Suburbia unfortunately..

I had a blast in Calgary last summer. We got too drunk to drive to our campground one night so we set up our tent at a playground
But UofA has the specific concentration that I want and it's a little bit cheaper. I'll probably enjoy either school. They're both going to require extensive paperwork (being an international student), and they're both super expensive. So I don't know yet. I'm going to pick your brain about it on broad

Moving up within the company. Leaving the comfort of my desk to be out on the field, but I'm kinda of scared, I've always been an indoors kind of guy but the money ill be making out as a restoration technician @ starting pay is going to be a good amount more than what I'm making now. I was informed that if I want to ever do this, I need to start when I return from Hellfest, making Tuesday my last day in the office. I'm going to miss all the forum more than anything =/

also, im REALLY GOING TO MISS THE MEN OF ULTIMATE METAL THREAD

U of A!!! U of A!!!!!!! I don't know the first thing about the school, but Edmonton's a pretty cool place. It's so cool, in fact, that I'm seriously considering moving there myself. I'm actually an American living in Canada, too. I didn't do the student visa thing but I know some people who have, and I've got insight on the whole Canadian/American dealing-with-immigration-people thing so if you have any questions feel free to message me or snag me in January or whatever. I also spent 4 years in Calgary when I moved up here. I didn't like it. It's only thru the cruise that I've finally met more than a handful of cool Calgarians. They're almost enough to make Calgary "worth it" but Edmonton has the better metal scene for sure -- I don't think that's up for debate. :D

That's good to hear. I was curious if it was going to be a dumbed-down kids film or actually made for all audiences. I will probably check it out so.

It actually rained for about 25 minutes yesterday evening! I know lots of people around the US have had more than their share of rain and flooding, but we've barely had a drop in over half a year. YES, South Florida, HALF A YEAR in a sub-tropical region. Yesterday morning I woke to smelling brush fire smoke from a mile or two up the road, after several other brush fires also polluting the local air in the last several months. So 25 minutes of raining and thunder is enough to make me kick my feet with glee and cheer... er... REJOICE RANDOMLY.

There is a slight chance that we will get more rain this afternoon and tonight, and later this week. Call me crazy, but I welcome hurricane season. Maybe we will finally get another "Florida Snow Day" and some rain to boot! Anything is better than fires in my opinion, and thunderstorms are my favorite type of weather. Oh, how I've missed them. I hope they are back for a while!  :headbanger:

Oh yeah I already have End Of Innocence and Dehumanized on my Ipod and they have like 20 listens each already. I think Prometheus is floating around live on youtube, other then that I haven't heard anything.

Silly boy, the whole album was leaked weeks ago. I myself have never gotten around to listening to it yet.

Woo hoo, paid off the charge for the cruise that was on my credit card this morning!

Those rat bastards at Capital One have not made a penny off of me in interest for several years now!

Definitely a different situation than a decade ago when I couldn't seem to pay the damn thing off. Wow, I'm getting old.
Have a good time...all the time.

Awwww, how cute when couples talk to each other in the same thread. At least it's during the day and you're not doing this from the same coach. That would be (as the Bostonians would say) "wicked lame"

Yeah, I hadn't heard the news yet.
At least I don't derail every thread (often about some type foreign snack), and even group facebook messages related to of all things, charity! That would be as I call it "business as usual for Kevin."
