    Need some assistance

    by IWantYourSkulls » Fri Jul 16, 2010 8:34 am

My wife and I would REALLY REALLY love to go to this and don't mind sharing a room with others and whatnot... Problem is, we won't have enough money for a few more months. I know it's a long shot, but maybe somebody who has loads of cash might want to pony up the money and take some collateral of some kind from me until I can get it back to them. Hey, desperate times call for desperate measures. I really don't wanna miss out on this opportunity of a lifetime!

Come on people! Anybody have any ideas. I can't let this one pass me by. I'll figure out a way somehow. Just don't know how yet. Hmmmm. ;)

But seriously, this cruise is what credit cards are made for. I doubt anybody who posts on here has a large stockpile of money socked away, much less to loan to someone they don't know. Good luck in your quest to make it on the boat! :headbanger:

Im not sure if it is still an option to make payments but you might want to discuss that with the promoters as to what options are left at this point for payment arrangements.
There are always people on this Forum popping up that have already booked the cabin and need mates to fill it.....just sayin :beerwink:

WOW and I thought I had no shame.

Good luck with that my friend. I am unemployed since March 30th. Booked my cabin on Feb. 5th and luckily my cabinmate is SUPER awesome and has saved my ass from being tossed off the cruise before we even sailed.

But even I, if I were rich beyond means would not help pay for a total strangers cabinfare on a heavy metal cruise.

Try selling shit on eBay, its what I did last year when I flew to Norway for Hole in the Sky and I will have to do it again in a few weeks when I go back to Norway. I am going to one of the most expensive countries in the world and I am unemployed.

Don't get me wrong... I wasn't asking for a handout, just a very short-term loan. It's going to take me about a month to get the money together and I'd be willing to bet that a cabin is going to be hard to come by at that point. Oh well, there's always next year I guess. Hopefully Saxon will be on board again!

I wouldn't quote me on this but I think you'll be fine within a month. There seem to be a fair number of cabins left and people are still posting periodically to say their cabin-mates have bailed on them and they need replacements. Just get your coin together and then see where things stand. Don't give up now just because no one's jumping to front you.
