Well basically most their fans got fucked over about it.
What happeend was 4 months after Wacken had sold out last year Runningwild or should i say Rolf announced that they would be playing one last gig at Wacken and then disbanding.Apparently some of the band members were as shocked as i was when i found out because i don't think he told them straight away that this was gonna happen.
Anyway Wacken was sold out for months so most Running Wild fans couldn't get a ticket to see them especially with such a short announcement of it.
You think they would have atleast done a tour or something before going out.

(Just seeing Tom Morello as The Nightwatchman would be awesome, too)

Now that would be killer..

One of the best bands EVER. And the nicest guys ever. I met them in Seattle when they opened for Master in like 95 and flew out to Colorado Springs, Co and saw them play two nights at the Pure Energy club. Great group and very generous dudes. Dax is a wonderful storyteller and Audie was pretty much the coolest dude in the band. I shared some of my wealth I had brought from Seattle and they asked me what song I wanted them to play and I said 'Cassie Eats Cockroaches" and they were flipping out that i wanted to hear that one and that they had not played it live in years. They played it and gave me a shout out before hand. I video taped the show with my camcorder. But of course I lost it somewhere. (the footage). Glad I have the Acid Bath- dvd!
Now this reunion I would be interested in. Not sure if Jimmy every got his life together. He had some serious issues that he had to deal with.

One of the WORST, if not THE WORST bands to ever exist on this planet.
A bunch of white dudes pissed off because they are white. um, yeah.
I saw them play Lollapolloza 94 and they sucked hardcore.

I was told they were on break, but that has been for quite some time that it really just seemed more of an indefinite break up.
Seeing as Almah took off so well, it has put Angra under the rug.
Bittencourt focused on his solo stuff, and so did Loureiro.
In any case, I hear they're bringing it back. Hopefully.
