What first got you into metal?

I always liked heavier music even before I got into metal. When I was a kid it was Aerosmith, Alice in Chains, Metallica, etc. Then a friend introduced me to In Flames about 10 years ago which got me into the whole Eurpoean scene and it's been all downhill ever since.

Play any instruments?

Used to screw around on the bass, but not so much anymore.

Top 5 bands?

What do you do?

Customer service/tech support.

What deck are you on?

Waiting for the damn public sales to start! Been following this thing since the middle of last year. Thankfully I can afford it this year, I'm just praying I get a spot...

What first got you into metal?
My recollection is fuzzy, but i remember being mesmerised by alot of the European Gothic/Doom, Black Metal and the Gothenburg movement in '98. The music was cathartic, the emotional swells and aggression were unlike anything i had been subjected to, artistically.

Play any instruments?
Trained in classical voice, but like a good Sith i moved to the dark side and have been doing extreme vocals for a few years.
Dabbled in guitar and gypsy violin.

What do you do?
I am a Graphic Designer/Finished Artist who designs album art concepts and solutions for the music industry. I lecture in my field at a renowned Audio/Film and Creative Media Institution. I also write/photograph for a few music publications. In my spare time i like to play with my kittens, write beautiful music and photograph exotic, scantilly clad women.

Man I haven't been going to any shows lately because of my shitty work schedule. I work Sunday night. But I'm glad to see some South Bay people who actually dig REAL metal!

Man I haven't been going to any shows lately because of my shitty work schedule. I work Sunday night. But I'm glad to see some South Bay people who actually dig REAL metal!

And it would be great as an Australia Day Celebration to get a wrestling match like this going. I'll leave the planning and finer details to the "Canadian Creep Machine" as that's right up his alley. Plus he lives in the same city as UMC, so finalizing the logistics of the whole thing should be much much easier.

What first got you into metal? started with nu-metal in high school but then came Deicide and it progressed from there
