It's a longshot methinks, but I'm hoping there'll be some meads available. If not, then at least some good wheat beers. If not, to the whiskey I shall go!

There are several variations I've had in places around here.

One of them (The Crazy Canuck) has lime slush, Jaegermeister, Vodka, a red bull, and a molson canadian tipped into it.

My favorite one ('Dog'tor pepper) has orange slush, root beer schnapps, butter ripple schnapps, spiced rum, and a rickard's white ale in it.

They are perfect summer drinks and get you just plain liquored

ebing dutch i should welcome heiniken.
fortunately i am REAL dutch and won't drink that crap often. (unfortunately it is the most poured beer in the netherlands,)

but i was most horrfified when i saw an even worse beer: amstel light. this is, without a doubt, the worst beer there is.
Amstel alone is a beer which is awfull so i can not imagine drinking amstel light (where is the barf icon?)

I can say i have had my share of beer, having travelled across some countries in Europe.
had some very good Pints in England, grabbed quite a few canns in Germany (brilliant cheap beer)
there is nothing more relaxing then grabbing 1L after a long day of ski-ing in Austria
but a good nice dark beer on a sunny terrace in Gent, Belgium

in case of Dutch beer in can really recommend: Hertog Jan (indeed i am already laughing how you americans/brittish people are going to pronounce it ;) )
but Swenckels is a mighty fine beer as well, but a nice cold Gulpener could go down every day!

I am looking forward to miami, trying new beers

    cheers!!

but then again, i don't know which beers you had.
indeed there are not that much good dutch beers.
fortunately we are that f*cking small that beers from our neighbours can easily be imported

I seem to be drinking wine more and more these, I like the white over the red, from what I have tried. I never used to drink it, and not many of my friends do, so I don't really know what I am looking for. Do any whine connoisseurs have any suggestion/tips for me?

The only thing I really like about Champagne is the popping of the cork. I too have only tasted the cheap stuff but would be interested in seeing what a bottle that has been aging for 100 years tastes like. :heavydrink:

Not a good selection of beer at all. Way too much "piss" beer.
We all need to contact Royal Caribbean and get a better selection of beer on this cruise.
Myself, I am contacting Royal Caribbean investor relations to have my voice heard.
I also need to find out exactly what 145 varieties of premium, super premium and elite-level spirits will be there, and if there will be any decent reds.

To say dutch beers are crap is just wrong!!! We rule the world pilsner wise hehe. I love gulpner which means i'm one of the 50 who will always buy the crates... Belgian beers are great! Nothing like a good McChouffe, or a good trappist like Westmalle or leffe triple or radieuse and let's not forget the brilliant kwak and... ehh I think i'm losing it, feel like beer all of a sudden yum yum.

I hope they have Southern Comfort. Jack is good too. Can't say much for micro brews as most I've drank left me with a shit headache the next day or have a burnt tire taste. We are close to Puerto Rico so I'd wouldn't mind some Medalla Light to wash down some SoCo.

Maybe people coming from Germany can demand some German beers. I hear they are tops.
