Chankanaab Park is the way to go on the CHEAP. Its a short cab ride from the Cruise chip dock. They have beaches with waiters that bring your drinks. You can eat lunch there and rent snorkel gear for around $3 when I was there a few years ago. They have lockers you can put your stuff in and let you run a tab. Our waiters name was George. We often miss George.

We just jumped in a cab and said "Chankanaab" that the cab driver replied "State Park, Si" That was it. No paying for an excursion or anything and we had a nice day.

Ah, you know people. A minority of assholes has to fuck it up for the rest of us. People not cleaning up after themselves, leaving broken glass in the sand, getting drunk and pissing in front of families, getting into fights, the list goes on and on.

If only we lived in a perfect world with metal playing everywhere and the world's population taking a little personal responsibility...

Nah, I am a pretty mellow and happy drunk. No broken glass, no trash, no fights.

Though apparently I did get a little too wasted on Labor Day last year with some neighbors and relieved myself on a tree (or so my girlfriend tells me... maybe she was messing with me?). But as far as doing something like that in front of complete strangers, not gonna happen!

I want to spend the entire time lounging on a ghetto lounge chair made enitirely of sheet metal and then cover myself with iodine and baby oil and have a endless flow of Don Julio Resposado tequila shots coming.

When my cruise made the stop in Cozumel... well, what happened was we picked up some... souvenirs from our stop in Jamaica. Lemme tell ya, Jamaica's herb is every bit as good as any hype you may have heard. Anyway, I didn't make it off the boat, as I was down for a very large nap from said souvenirs. By the time I had come awake, we were departing, but everyone I was with tells me it was essentially a touristy party town, chock full of bars that shove tequila down your throat upon your entry.

I might get drunk and go fishing with Witch Bear. He cannot find the potion to make gross human food taste good and he will probably eat all the fish on board by the 2nd day of the cruise. We would not want him to go hungry. Because all of us could look like a costco sized tray of fish to him if he is hungry enough..

My plan is to rent a Jeep Wrangler and cruise across the island with several spliffs ready to roll, check out some of the scenery. I know royal caribbean offers the jeep rental, just hoping it'll be available for this particular trip.

A friend of mine told me when he went to Mexico last year his phisician gave him a couple of "precaution shots". So I'm asking if this is "mandatory" for our one day trip to the jungle too or is it required only for longer stays?
