Saq: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wi2HolTTEdI
Mendacity: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZhgsYlGWeA
Thanks for the info! I'm a newb, so just to be sure, this is the successor to the event where everyone met up before the cruise last year?
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!![]()
Deadly Bizarre: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bID7Ssbu-D0
Cyst: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IW_xNNu2XQ

Also, for any of you wine connoisseurs, there's a wine bar under the same ownership right next door, which will also be open for the Pre Party. Check out their website here: http://www.wix.com/korkmiami/korkwineandcheese
And yes, food will also be available
For those of you staying in hotels near the port, the Metromover system is another free and easy way to get to the show.
The Miami Avenue station is located right above the venue: http://www.miamidade.gov/transit/mover_stations.asp
So, before we all get on the cruise, come out and get bruised!![]()

Just thought I'd drop a little update on the Pre Party for you all. Due to construction delays at Avenue D, the Pre Party will not be happening.....at Avenue D. Instead, after looking around and getting a few false leads, the fun will now take place at Grand Central, which is only a few blocks North of Avenue D. Feel free to check the event page, for the updated info: http://www.facebook.com/events/285244511500809/
I also now have to replace the opening band, but I have a list of contenders, so no worries. So in the meantime, be sure to spread the word about this event to everyone you can, and send invites from the page to anyone you can think of. I want this to be even bigger and better than the last one.
And for those wondering about the proposed POST Party, well I am working on that right now with a different venue. I hope to have word on that soon enough.
Metal Cruise Of Heaviness Pre Apocalyptic Party

If you have the scratch and contacts then go right ahead and put together an headliner package.
Just remember this was done by a forum member who lives in the local area. And it's more about hanging out and meeting people than hearing the bands

HUMPH! Thrash or Die and Deadly Bizarre for the win!

Not quite correct. It's about both of these things equally. After all, this cruise is based on our love of Metal. The Pre Party is no different. It's just on a smaller scale
Captain Metal wrote:On that note, I'm beginning to think that the chances for the Post Party are looking a bit grim, BUT I haven't given up on that just yet. So bear with me.

Appreciate the work Capt. Looking forward to the preparty yet again, and hoping for a post party. If not, we'll have an unofficial one somewhere

Yeah, we don't need some fancy venue with bands (although it would be cool if it happens) just pick a decent sized bar that we can completely take over and we can make our own fun!

I'm still pretty skeptical about drinking on the beach, especially in such large numbers. Slightly worried the authorities wouldn't like it.
