Thrash Or Die for 2012 (as band #41 or #42)

Okay, let's consider the fact that we had a few smaller and lesser known bands the first time around, such as Cripper and Dusk Machine. I figure a few extra bands are needed again to fill in those really early/late spots. So why not a band that's a proven crowd pleaser? AND, you don't even have to fly them in from somewhere else, as they're already based in Miami. The vocalist, Dr. Fukk, is already joining us for the cruise, so why not get the rest onbroad to Thrash your faces?

Was thinking about it, if Thrash or Die was on the cruise last year they would have been one of the best 2-3 Thrash bands on the ship in my opinion.

Confusing Speed metal ( old Rage and Blind Guardian ) with thrash metal is sacrilegious to me, so I guess we are even. =-P

I did say "in my opinion" and over the years I have wasted a lot of money on Bay Area Thrash albums and shows, only to be disappointed over and over. And that's what dominated most of the thrash slots last year on the cruise. For whatever reason, I have always enjoyed East Coast and Teutonic/Euro thrash more. I have had waaaayyy more fun listening to Thrash or Die tunes or watching their videos then ever did with most of the thrash bands on the cruise last year. If that makes me a sinner then so be it, won't be the first, or the last time I go against the masses.

my husband was just talking a few days ago how he likes eurothrash WAAAAYYY better than bay area thrash. he loves Coroner and Kreator but doesn't care about Testament, Death Angel, even Overkill (yes i know they are NY).

so in this regard you have that in common.

and i LOOOVE Rage and wouldn't really call them thrash metal although they have an element of thrash to their awesome sound.

that is where i'm at....i grew up on all kinds of thrash, though i am a bit picky at times (re: my rant on not liking Warbringer that much), i generally am happy when i thrash out with my gash out!

A HUGE THANK YOU for all that came out to the pre-cruise show and made the Thrash Or Die show beyond AMAZING! To see an international crowd going crazy during our set was something I can never capture in words. And what an AMAZING time on the cruise it was! See you all next year!
