Nothing much for me really so far but I'm pretty sure Andy will give a special candy that I will enjoy immensely like on previous cruises:

2011 - Agent Steel, Circle II Circle, Forbidden, Sanctuary
2012 - Exciter, Riot, Vicious Rumors, Whiplash
    2013 - Flotsam & Jetsam, Hellstar, Metal Church (although I didn't attend this cruise :? )
    2011 @ 5535
    2012 @ 5527
    2014 @ 2039
    2015 @ 9675

My problem with repeats isn't only that they aren't bands I want - I'd have a problem with even good repeats. Metal Archives lists 50,788 active metal bands, so there really isn't any need to fill half the lineup with repeat acts. And sure, not everyone has been on all previous cruises, but I'd say something like half of the cruisers have been on at least two previous cruises (70k or Barge).

Andy wrote:Since the beginning we have always given a very few up and coming artists the chance to join us on 70000TONS OF METAL, The World's Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise.

This is what I have a problem with. Cool, giving some unknown or up and coming bands a chance to play the cruise. And what do you announce? A repeat.
I'm fairly sure the next announcement will begin by saying how customer requests are taken seriously and how only the most requested bands will get a chance to repeat - and announce Blackguard.

I don't have any problems with repeats. I'm very happy with Overkill and Cripper and I would love to have Obituary and Cannibal Corpse on board again.

Sometimes I visit two gigs of one tour because I love the bands and I have fun on the shows. I don't just visit concerts to fill my checklist of bands I have already seen.

But btw I was to a DEATH to all show in Hamburg on Monday. Believe me that would be a great announcement! :deathmetal: :deathmetal: :deathmetal:

Are you kidding? The cruise is almost sold out. He knows his business.

T'was a jab at a lack of announcements after The Haunted, which changed shortly after my post (maybe I should've been posting more from the beginning). It's obvious Andy knows what he is doing with the show though, it's a good festival and the best looking cruise one for sure.

Well, to be fair, lots of people were asking specifically for Cripper.

Yeah the first time they played it was "give up and coming bands a chance". This time it was "wow hundreds of people really want this band back". We'll get some other new ones too don't worry ;)

That's a highly requested band I think. Not for me but will check them out still. If they play some stuff off of nemesis divina I'll be mighty happy.

Please contact Ted aka Nocturno Culto of Darkthrone and see if he wants to repeat that EPIC special set at Wacken 2004. He was backed by Satyricon and they played Darkthrone songs (after Satyricon's set) What a night that was.
