Yes, it should be easier to pay with a classic credit card like Visa and not with Moneybooker but maybe the amounts are important it is a security for us.

I havent had any issues with them when I use my visa. My bank declined my first transaction and literally called me less than a minute later to confirm it was me, then they pushed it through right after that.

I got my confirmation and instructions limit is $1250.00 USD so UMC gave me the 2 payment breakdown,I know my CC company will call so be near your phone you have on file if you are doing 2 or more payments.Alot of confirms are going out so wait to pay later in the day or tomorrow.

I never had a problem but I noticed a lot of complaints here.Read you e-mail ,put in last name and code and if the payment is broken down into more than one payment you have to do things 2 or 3 times.Example total $2000.00 limit is $1250.00 first time last name ,booking code, payment $1250.00 (not your entire total!) ,second time again from UMC make a payment start page last name ,booking code , then $750.00.

Email I got said the limit was 1200.00.

I tried, but my bank was blocking it because the charge was coming from London and I live in the US. They put my card on travel mode, but it takes 24 hours to go through, so I'm stuck waiting until tomorrow to try again.

Perhaps UMC should work on setting up payment methods by region to help things run smoother. At least by EU/US designation at a minimum?

The bastards froze my account last Oct after I made my final payment for this years cruise. Given I thought it would be unlikely that I,d be going again next year I didnt bother agreeing to their bullshit request 2 prove my identity so the account could be unlocked. Decided 2 make a booking for next year though & as expected, my account is frozen so havent been able to make the payment so far. Am awaiting for reply from UMC. Havent paid by bank transfer before so assume they,ll recommend I do that! Do not know of anyone else apart from UMC that uses "Moneygrubbers" (great name btw!). Bunch of arseholes.

Yea,I buy stuff from bands in other countries and most of them use Paypal,I see many people outside of US have an actual account with Skrill but I have no use for it except for UMC.Our limit for non-Shrill account holders (mine is $1250) is the only painful thing,I think Paypal takes a bigger cut than Skrill and that is why UMC doesn't use them.
