    1. The contestant closest to the time will win

    2. no re-dos. That would just encourage everyone to pick tomorrow, and then tomorrow, and tomorrow...

I say we let re-dos happen, but with a catch: every entry is a beer for the winner. So if everyone who has already lost wants to enter again, they'd have to buy two beers to the winner.

Granted we all have livers of steel, but if you allow rebuys there might be the possibility that the winner doesn't even remember the cruise! The list is long! :)

Hum... if two votes are allowed, can I add my second vote right away, even if my first vote hasn't expired?
I'd like to go with something more optimistic...let's say... August 27?

There are very few "real" beers on the cruise. I would say any kind of "light" beer isn't beer. If you want good beer, you need to go to Portland, Oregon, United States. And yes, I'm talking to you Germany.

Don't get me wrong. Coronas are great for a sunny day... And you can make a decent michelada with them... But yeah, they're piss beer.

I've been away for a few days and it looks like I need to make an executive decision on the rebuy debate. Due to the fact that's there's a slight chance the winner won't see everyone who made guesses, I don't want one person to lose 2 drinks and someone to get off without buying the winner a drink. NO REBUYS, ONE GUESS PER PERSON. I'll bring a small trophy onbroad with all the losers names on it so the winner can keep track of who owes them a drink. A drink can be any single serving beverage the winner wants under $15.

Up to $15, I'm thinking its mostly gonna be beer and mixed drinks, I put a $15 limit on it because I don't want the winner asking for shots of Blue Label or something extremely expensive.

    Castroh,

$15 is a LOT of money for a drink on a boat. Can't you reduce it to max. $10 ?

I'd be totally okay with that, you can get a pretty good drink under 10$ and 15$ is honestly a little more than I expected for that bet!

Now that I've officially lost the bet I'm all for reducing the drink maximum to $10 :)

How much were the beers? They were like $5 weren't they?

Blue Moon was 4.50 and Sierra Nevada IPA was 7, I think. I would be ok with making it 7, so I can get me some IPA if I win.

$10 and one guess for all I think is the ebst way to be fair to everyone. Just my opinion. Reguesses aren't fair for those who sincerely guessed way later on than...oh let's say the day after the bet was made. Sorry, not trying to :bitch:
