    Enter The Vault

    by meshuggah » Fri Sep 13, 2013 11:21 am

I buy advance tickets very often from enterthevault.com. From looking at their band list, it seems that there is a real connection between the bands they sponsor, and 70000 Tons bands. On their website now: Alestorm; DRI (2014); Dark Tranquillity (2014); Finntroll(2014); Helloween (2013); Kamelot (2014); Kreator (2013); Overkill (2014); Powerman 5000; Warbringer.

I hope this means we'll be getting Alestorm and Warbringer. I don't know Powerman 5000's music.

Yeah they probably use one of the same booking agents? I'd be down for those 2 bands.

Me too. Enter the vault handles a lot of tickets for former 70k bands. I get every ticket I can there

You know, I still have a listen to them every once in a while. Is it metal? No, but I can still have fun with it.
    Now let's go get banjaxxed.

They might have been. They played Ozzzfest 96 and 97. Released a really good record (at the ime), In "Tonight the Stars Revolt". Then their record company made them go trendy punk and it killed their career. At which point, I lost interest.

What Rob Zombie's little brother is doing right now is beyond me. If he still has a band and career, good for him. Just keep him off our ship.

John Finberg (who runs ETV) is also a business partner of Ewo from King Foo Entertainment (and helps run their North American stster company, Foo King) so a lot of the bands that one company manages, the other sells.
I say this because it's also worth noting that King Foo's bands have been on 70k rather extensively. So some of their other artists might be there too, since Andy seems to be in pretty close contact with them. http://www.kingfooentertainment.com/?page=arti&lang=fin

With a name like "Powerman", I've got to see what they sound like.
