Black metal - hell yes!!! MARDUK!!!!!! I saw Marduk last December (hadn't been to the states in 10 years or so I think), and next to Kyo of Dir en Grey, Mortuus is one of THE most intense performers I've ever seen!!!!

Hail Mortuus (actually, it's kinda funny thinking about this guy on a cruise in the sunny Caribbean - seems better suited to a very dark, cold place

HA! Me and the wife sitting here at the table discussing the same thing. It would be really bad for her emotional state and my patience, if they do stay in character. She has some ridiculous startle reflex and screams at the drop of a hat. So every time one of these guys pops around a corner it will sound as if they just planted an ice pick in her thigh. It gets a little tedious at times, I must admit...

Love this band since 1991, from the Dark endless lp and then fuck me jesus ep. great addition!!!!!!!! Hopefully they play inside or at night outside because I saw them once at Wacken and they went on at 1pm in 90 degrees and their corpse paint melted off.

I saw them when they last toured here and it was awesome!!!!!! Please book some Norwegian stuff. Aura Noir!!!!!!!!!!!! Mayhem or Immortal!!!!

Yes indeed. When someone said Sweden, Marduk was the first band I thought of but had all but given up on black metal for this cruise. I liked Legion the most out of anyone in that group but the new incarnation is a good band so, fuck yeah!

I like Dimmu but they are kind of stale live in my opinion.

Satyricon is cool live and Satyr is a mad man so he would be cool to hang out with I think.

The rest would be cool too be Behemoth is a definite not because he’s in the hospital now with a blood issue and they cancelled all shows.

I know more than a few people who feel that way about Dimmu, but I still love 'em! Saw Satyricon twice and agree that Satyr is an (awesome) madman. Fuel for Hatred is on my top five favorite metal videos/songs list http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTGraq5eT60
Met Satyr once and Frost twice - actually very nice and softspoken - not the madmen they are on stage for sure!

That really sucks about Nergal - didn't know about that

I saw Marduk last December... um it was VERY BLACK...
So many should be pleased with that.

Goatwhore is killer but I doubt they'll be on since the california ship has sailed also they rarely play and when they do its random local dive venues.

I seriously am hoping that Watain are picked up in Sweden while they are there and picked up Marduk. The decomposing animal carcasses they brought out on the North American Tour 2007 was epic. The club was packed and girls (and some guys) were throwing up all over the place. The stench was super over powering. Then they lit giant nag champva incense and candles and then the ritual began. Really awesome!!!!

I got threw all that but when i got dushed with the fermented blood i almost lost it. The shit went in my eyes, mouth, and beer. Fuck it the show ruled. saw them in the Dragons Den in New Orleans about 500 square feet. So it was a little intense. HAIL WATAIN!!!!

My friend has a score to settle with them for ruining his camera with stale pig's blood a couple of years ago
