I just don't get the attraction with these guys. They're from here and I've gone to a couple of their gigs because some great local bands were opening for them and both times the openers got the room just pumped and then 3"of? come out and put on the most boring sets I've ever been subjected to. No stage presence. No connection with the crowd. Totally mechanical. But all the fans flooding the stage just eat it up. Their studio material is decent enough and good for the style it is but I don't know. Something about them just falls way flat for me and I don't see how they attract so many fans. Just another matter of varying tastes I suppose. If I was going to post an entry to the 5 popular metal bands you hate thread, these guys would probably lead the charge.

Agreed 1000%

Speaking of which, is the ship still anchored near SF Bay? I sure hope they pick up some more bands down there then head North up the coast to pick up a couple from Seattle and Vancouver.

For sure! I've been hoping for the same thing.
Nevermore FTW!

Vancouver - Mendozza, Bison, Golers(I realize these 3 are highly unlikely due their being relatively unknown internationally but a guy can dream), Devin Townsend Project and, of course, Nickleb... JUST KIDDING!!!!

California - Suicidal Tendencies, Armored Saint, Forbidden & Exodus... As well, some big name, potential headliners also come from that area so there's a small chance of one of them being named. Also I wouldn't mind a total shocker like Ratt or some other glammish band just to widen the spectrum of diversity.
Seattle - Nevermore/Warrel Dane, Melvins, Queensryche(less likely I know), Tad, A.I.C., (these 2 are way more grunge than metal I know but heavy enough for me to enjoy if any were to make the trip).
Vancouver - Mendozza, Bison, Golers(I realize these 3 are highly unlikely due their being relatively unknown internationally but a guy can dream), Devin Townsend Project and, of course, Nickleb... JUST KIDDING!!!!

Is it hard to stomach Dukes doing the old material? I don't like his vocals on the new stuff, so I can only imagine it would be hideous for the Zetro/Baloff tunes.
If Skipper Andy really wants to flex his MOJO, he'll get Zetro to come back and perform 1 whole set. This way we can skip the set they do with Dukes.
