    by FrenchMachoBoy » Tue Dec 23, 2014 5:22 am

We are very happy to announce the return of Jamming With Waters In International Waters, the official All-Star Jam of 70000TONS OF METAL, The Original, The World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise.

This is how it will go down: Host Jeff Waters will assemble the line-up, and compile a list of songs. Then you, our valued cruisers will vote later this year for which of these songs will be played! Yes that’s right, you choose the songs for Jamming With Waters In International Waters!
We don't have any more info about this vote (when - how), do we ?

    SOON.

Just like the special gift for veteran cruisers, we will find out.

    SOON.

Just like the remaining 23 bands, we will find out.

    SOON.

Just like the information about the frequent cruiser program, we will find out.

    SOON.

So fucking sick of that word.

Wasn't there some kind of vote for something or other on one of the more recent cruises that looked like it wasn't gonna happen but eventually did? Some band's set list or something?
So far at least, 2011, 2012 & 2015 were enough for me

I want to say it was Metal Church in 2013. Where's the Statsman when you need him!?!

If we vote on the setlist I imagine the people playing them will have some time to prepare. Also I don't know any Kiss songs :P

I sure hope not or I've missed work tonight. I'd not planned on voting since I honestly don't really care but I'll give it a go and see if it works for me

I just tried and it said that it has ended. I also looked more closely at the email and it says 1159. It doesn't give an AM or PM which is what we're used to in the U.S. Maybe it ended at 1159 on a 2400 scale?

you're surely right. I guess with the end of the year in our heads, when we read Dec 31 11.59 we think in midnight.

I'm actually surprised that one of the Europeans didn't figure that out sooner snce they actually use military time on a daily basis in most of the places I've been.

Very surprised/a bit disappointed in these results. Seriously thought a bunch of cruise-bound metalheads would select the mor interesting/challenging material over the run of the mill / covered a zillion times stuff that won out. I mean, Enter Sandman beating For Whom the Bell Tolls and Living After Midnight n Breaking the Law beating Hell Bent???

    Odd

Yeah a very bland selection from an only-moderately-less-bland overall selection really!

Fortunately I can miss it this year since the lineup is so killer. in 2013 there wasn't much going on for me in the way of bands so Jeff Waters a company really stood out then, but this year, I believe he is shrouded in a sea of awesome.
