The lineup for 2016 so far is chalk-and-cheese different to 2015 for me! Even the bands from genres that are not normally in my wheelhouse (ie. Ancient Rites and Thyrfing) I quite like!

Thyrfing and My Dying Bride are awesome adds. Not familiar with Ancient Rites, I'm giving it a listen now. It's decent, not super exciting yet but probably will be epic live.

Thyrfing is a cool surprise... if I end up going I'd definitely watch them, and they're the first band announced that I dig and haven't seen... now please don't announce Borknagar, Bolt Thrower, Carcariass, or Ceremonial Oath

I had no interest at all on the cruise for next year so far.And the first list of bands were extermly weak.However i have to reconsider my position on going on the cruise now..
Ancient Rites are one of my favorite bands of all time.Never got to see them.They reuinted about 2 or 3 years ago but never been at festivals i've gone to.Really a must see band for me atleast once in my life time.
Also Thyrfing.Finally a proper viking metal band.Also another band i've wanted to see for a long time.

They are also 2 bands i've been request on the cruise every year XD

Even though every year is a bumpy ride I have to hand it to Andy this year for at least being online to post updates at such odd hours of the day. Unless I am way off somehow a few of these posts are coming at the early hours of the morning for Andy. I am in the east coast US and some of the posts are like 5AM for me so that puts Andy (or his interns) at like 2AM..

Maybe the forum handles dates a little bit.. who cares, at least we are not stuck getting updates 9-5 Andy time.

I am really enjoying these last 3 announcements. With that said, I have seen every band announced so far live at least once. Hopefully we will get a band in the first 20 that I have not seen before.

Going with blackguard too. I thought maybe a year or two ago they were supposed to be on but for some reason fell through.

I think Blackguard is a pretty good guess.

Could be Candlemass. They're playing every single friggin' festival/show possible this year, so why not have them back?

So far I'm interested in 7/14 announced bands, so it's looking like I'll have to sell something to go back next year.
I really hope Borknagar is the next addition, with Bolt Thrower as a next best thing. I don't think they're adding Cripper bands yet, but if they are thinking of adding a less known US based band (as they tend to do to) I'd like to bring out that Battlecross are releasing a new album next August so they could also be a nice addition.

Visions = Stratovarius?

Or is it alphabetical order? Vision Divine would be a huge add if that's the case. And we know Fabio loves the cruise.

Sweet! I feel like a lot of forumites are getting some nice wishlist bands this year, and they're not even ones I hate, haha.

I've seen Carach Angren in my hometown, but I'm happy to see them again. Me and my work buddy crack jokes about them all the time. Wish I could get his ass on the boat! Maybe? Add Between the Buried and Me and maybe he'll join us, lol.

Now can I have some Devin Townsend pretty please?

I feel like it's almost too easy to give us something in their name, looking at the trend of Andy's other hints he's going for places of origin or big project they were in. "Visions" is screaming a black metal band to me.

Maybe so, but the Question Mark is placed after Turisas so it's very possible it's a band with "Visions" in the name. I'd rather it not be though as I don't know of many bands with Vision in their name that I enjoy.
