Hello hello!!!

I just learned about this fucking amazing venture 24 hours ago. I immediately phoned a buddy, and I'll be booking my cabin within a week!

The greeting aside, I have one random inquiry regarding the shows themselves. If I have my facts straight It's a 2000 person cruise. I would have to imagine that a select few bands will attract a very large portion of us to their sets...

Now I know absolutely nothing about the boat, or cruises in general (I've never been on one!) but is there some place on board where 1000+ people can congregate? Simply put, I'm wondering if there would be an instance where there's literally no room left on the deck during a show!

... Though I'm sure I am worrying too much.

No, you are correct to be wondering about this as there is some print in the contract that states that passengers are not guaranteed a seat at any particular performance and all are 'first come first serve'. So, depending on how it all rolls out, we may be getting reaaaal close in January

Well, Tyrwoman might be better off to tell you about this since she cruised most recently, but I was on a RC ship last June, and they def have show rooms on the ship that can easily hold probably 300-500 people seated, and that doesn't include the aisle space. I don't think it'll be a problem cramming in together, unless the fitness thread epic fails

If that's what the Blabbermouth headline reads, the story is probably more along the lines of : "Dino dropped a match on the floor of the bus, and promptly stamped it with no incident, preventing any possibility that FEAR FACTORY'S TOUR BUS CATCHES FIRE".

They are building a stage on the top deck over the pool I can only imagine most of us can cram around it.

the area around the stage on the top deck can probably hold at least half the passengers on board probably more if it gets crammed, if it's anything like the size of the Norwegian Cruise line vessels. However, i believe they are a little smaller than the "Norwegian Dawn" or "Jewel"

I don't think that there is one single place on board where everyone can gather at the same time.

Since they have several shows running parallel on several stages I don't think that's a problem. At large European festivals you always have more then one band play at the same time on different stages. The cool thing here is that every band plays twice (so I heard) so you always have a second chance...
