It would seem that with a half full ship, Andy is going to need to deliver some bands in the next round of ten that will get people off the fence and onto the ship.

Or UMC is shifting bands that are already booked to those Grand Suites to make room for other bands to come....maybe more Cripper award nominees.

All Cripper Award nominees get stuffed in a Grand Suite and have a little battle royale to see who gets to sleep on the bed.
General Zod wrote:Given they’re likely still trying to sell tickets, it makes it all the more surprising that nearly one third of the lineup has yet to be announced. Presumably bands are booked because of their drawing power. And while I appreciate that the larger bands have likely been booked, it seems strange to be this close to the event and have such a significant portion of the lineup unknown. Which makes me wonder; are they actually still scrambling to sign bands at this point or are they already booked, but they’re holding off on making the announcements?

* actually true
I'd also guess they're at the break-even point. It simply strikes me as odd that they're holding off on announcing bands, as announcing sooner can only be beneficial to their bottom line.Pellaz wrote:I think they're comfortably past their break-even point and they're holding off on announcing bands because Andy.

I don't want to sound redundant but is this REALLY true? I mean, I know we're heavy drinkers, but do they seriously use cabins to store extra beer?

Yes, it is true

Reminds me of Barge and no crowds at all - best cruise ever

You would have to assume they're not booked. Announcing the bands is the easy part and to do so would only be a benefit to the cruise in helping to sell the remaining cabins.cronos23462 wrote:...why not announce if they are already booked ?

If the band isn't playing in the U.S., they don't need a visa to play onbroad.

We all know from previous cruises that it is not true.
Some bands were asked to play 7-3 days before sailing date. Especially Florida based bands but also some European bands.

There are merch with all the bands listed on them then right?

That ain't wrong. Hmm... How could they print and ship those so fast?
But the last person booked will be the proof reader on the program booklet :-)
