Assuming we make it there in February, it will be my fifth time at Grand Turk.
The island heavily depends on cruise revenue -- its population is only about 4,500, so when a cruise ship docks the population effectively doubles -- so getting cruise operations restored is a HUGE priority.
The UK government is currently advising against non-essential travel to Grand Turk. It seems like it was the hardest hit of the TCI, and remains without power. Obviously, there's plenty of time to get things fixed before our cruise, but hopefully they can bounce back sooner rather than later.
