I missed that post. Who is being addressed/silenced here?
Ignoring the inherent bias of the sample, and we take your stats at face value, then aren't Black, Prog, and Doom consistently underrepresented?

That was just me having a friendly dig at Stover(kill) as he is constantly bitching
Yep, it’s happening. This first album had no equal at the time (POWER TRIP reminds me of it sometimes), but I can’t find the other ones on Spotify, so clearly they got screwed by their label.slayergeek wrote: ↑Sat Feb 16, 2019 9:12 am Ok Andy
Vio-lence is active again (more then just the series of Bay Area shows that was supposed to only be 1)

It's time to lock these guys in!
For those thrash fans that have not heard of Vio-lence, check out Eternal Nightmare and a track off the second album' World in a World'. These guys were royalty in the Bay Area, but did not have as much success outside of the Bay Area back in the day.
There are a lot of requests on Facebook, so why does this one get special dispensation? Just curious!
They might be the one who was having trouble logging into their forum account.Starling wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 7:45 amThere are a lot of requests on Facebook, so why does this one get special dispensation? Just curious!
Oh, also, Dallas, where do you have the final breakdown for this year's final lineup, as far as genres? Which thread? I'll try to find it myself, but I'm curious to see how it compares to the breakdown of wishlists now (and in future). Of course, I don't expect everything to line up perfectly, but it's frustrating to see how certain genres do seem to get ignored or are underrepresented. And then some that are over-represented, of course.
Ah, ok. Thanks!AstridDragon wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 8:23 amThey might be the one who was having trouble logging into their forum account.
THIS. Yeah they specifically gave me a shout-out saying they were having difficulty logging in to the forum. Happy to make exceptions in situations like that.AstridDragon wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 8:23 amThey might be the one who was having trouble logging into their forum account.Starling wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 7:45 amThere are a lot of requests on Facebook, so why does this one get special dispensation? As far as actual breakdown of genres represented on the ship this year, it was roughly this:Starling wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 7:45 am

I might at some point breakdown the 2019 wishlist top 100 in genres to see how it compares to what we have so far for 2020 (this is the first year I've taken the time to note the genres of the top requests).cowboy71 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 2:38 pmAs far as actual breakdown of genres represented on the ship this year, it was roughly this:Starling wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 7:45 am
