I might be able to do that if it was on a mainframe. Wish I had kept up with all the newfangled technology.

Interesting job offer. I hit most of those criterias... But it does say Vancouver British Columbia in the ad. Might not be for anyone anywhere.

Just how many companies are involved in the cruise?I can see having a promotion company for bands outside of the cruise, but there is the place in Nassau (strictly for maritime liability laws and taxes) and the overseas London based payment system.Which makes me wonder if Brexit or some other money transfer issues are affected booking this year. This would include negative interest rates where you would not want to have money in the bank because it costs you.

This "Burnaby" company are located in what "used" to called the UMC office in Vancouver.

And a number of the people we consider UMC/70K staff - Allison, Vincent, Caitlin etc list Burnaby as their employer now.

Maybe this company got created to keep the staff busy throughout the year? Who knows.

That's real weird. Burnaby is a part of the Greater Vancouver Area - we're sure it's not something to do with that?

Burnaby is it's own 'city' just to the east of Vancouver and part of the Greater Vancouver Metro area. Odd that the address for BSPMI is actually a Vancouver address. I imagine they likely rented space in Burnaby at one point, created the company and name at that time partly based on location then, at some point, relocated to the current address.

Random goofy thought... Kingsway actually runs diagonally through Vancouver and Burnaby for many miles so it's even possible that they were on Kingswway in Bby and now are on Kingsway in Vanc.

Now, I don't know exactly where UMC offices are located now or if they are one in the same with BSPMI but I am curious exactly where surfslamdive went to when he visited Andy & co as discussed in THIS THREAD Maybe it was on Kingsway in Bby. Maybe it was on Kingsway in Van or ... maybe... it was in downtown Vancouver where the UMC office was located ten years ago.

Some of you may remember I posted then retracted what I thought would be a funny thread way back when as I tried to visit the UMC offices but the address was a corporate office building downtown and either I had no suite number or couldn't find the right entrance but my efforts fell flat. So, when I returned home, I posted that I'd gone looking for them and found nothing but a vacant lot with two tin cans tied together with string. Well, this was before the first cruise when many still thought perhaps the whole 70K thing was a hoax and a scam. Needless to say, Andy was not amused by my post and asked me to remove / retract it which I immediately did as I hadn't considered the impact my joke might have on a larger scale as he was still probably going mad trying to bring together a zillion different details to pull this miracle event off for the first time.

Now that I think of it, maybe the whole reason Andy waits so long to release info harkens back to my poorly thought out post and the negative impact it had on him at the time. I can just imagine him, ten plus years ago, reading those words, knowing more than half the international metal community had no faith in his vision and could think of nothing better to do than make lame online jokes about the ludicrous notions of this upstart promoter. He probably sat, reading the post and pulling his hair out saying to himself in a mad scientist gone completely insane voice, "I'll show them. I'll show ALL of them! 70,000 Tons of Metal will rule the world and they'll be begging to get on broad! But I'll make it a living hell for them! They'll never know which bands I've lined up. They won't know who's playing or when until the very last minute! I won't even tell them where we're going or when until I bloody well decide they deserve to know! Make jokes about my office being an empty lot will you? Hah! Prepare for decades of frustration you gods forsaken, online metalhead maniacs! Bwah Haha hah ha ha!!!!"

    or something like that

If I did, in fact, help create the monster we've come to know, love and be baffled by, all I can say is...

    Sorry everybody
So far at least, 2011, 2012 & 2015 were enough for me
