Gee, a 30-day post from the Skipper, with no mention of any problems or other issues that would cause an announcement drought with 20+ bands left and less than a month to go.

I haven’t followed the room availability very closely in years past but it feels like there are a lot of rooms left with only 29 days to go. Has it always sold out before?
Well, it has always "sold out" in the past.
The last two years we think it WAS really sold out, since they instituted a waiting list for the first time ever.
Before that, there were still a few cabins left right up until sailing time, and then all of a sudden a day or two before, they posted "Sold out!" So.... Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. Bookings for cruises tend to close around that time anyway.
Also, "sold out" doesn't necessarily mean every cabin was sold. Each assigned lifeboat station has a certain capacity, and if that vertical "slice" of the ship reaches capacity, they can't sell any more rooms in that section.
Beer, however, doesn't get to jump in the lifeboats with us in case of an "abandon ship" order, so any unsold cabins can be used for beer storage.
(And no, that's not a joke.)
