70k band survivor

a little game for our entertainment - I know, I know...it would make more sense when all the bands are announced...but what the heck, let's find out what bands are the most popular

35 bands
7 groups
...and you get two votes for each group - divided among the bands any way you chose
[EDIT: "most points win" - you vote for the bands you like]

two bands per group advance - in this preliminary round, two additional third placed bands (those with the most votes) advance, too
the sixteen survivors will be put into four 4-bands-groups and the voting starts again

(btw, the bands got sorted by a random number in Excel)

voting for the preliminary round ends Thursday evening - Middle-European-Time
