    Possible Band? Angra

    by Zeh » Wed Dec 22, 2010 11:56 am

    Hey guys

I was reading some news, and found that Angra will perform in the USA in the begining of 2011, and then go to Europe. But, their last gig on American ground is on 14Jan, and on 12Feb they will play on Europe.

I hope they join us between both parts of their tour.

Jake and I were discussing this possibility a couple weeks ago on here. In fact we will be catching them very soon in Los Angeles (Jan 13th) while he (Jake) is in town for NAAM with Viathyn. We shall provide photos and reviews :D :heavydrink:
Disaster Area: a plutonium rock band from the Gagrakacka Mind Zones, are generally held to be not only the loudest rock band in the history of the Galaxy, but the loudest noise of any kind at all.

    I hope so!

Their last album was great, and most of their early music is from the begining of my metal life. Nostalgy

You have a point. If that were the case Deicide, Belphegor, Malevolent Creation, Immortal, and Rotting Christ could all be possibilities. Hell maybe even Sepultura, even though they're not touring here till May.
2015 wishlist: Mercyful Fate, Meliah Rage, Agalloch, Anathema, Armored Saint, Warlock, Sahg, Labyrinth, Incantation, Accept, Savatage, Goatwhore, Satan, Bolt Thrower, Tad Morose, Krokus, TT Quick, Eldritch

Yeah those guys in Angra (Kiko especially) go to NAMM every year, yet they rarely play in the states.
It would be amazing for sure, but I doubt they'll be on the boat.

Stoked to see them in a couple weeks! Kiko has been a guitar idol of mine for years.

Don't be sad about the thread, you have the option to not reply it if this is not interesting to you.

About Angra or Sepultura, I saw them al least 5 times each, not considering Andre Mattos solo band, whom I saw 2 times.
I prefer a band I've never seen, to be honest. But if they go, at least I'll have a band to talk on my native language. And some proof that Brazilians produces good music, not only samba and other craps.

^What Metalwrath was referring to, I think, was the fact that there already is a thread for speculations on who the remaining bands might be. No need for everyone to start their own thread.

His nickname for guy in Portuguese is lemon. His is so pleasant as a drinking a cup of lemon juice without water and sugar.

Hrmm that's weird.. my singer met him last year and the year before and he was apparently pretty humble and nice.

Although, I must say, If I were Kiko, I'd be wayyyyyy up my own ass. Kiko's an absolutely amazing guitar player.
