My buddy Rafael and I are road-tripping down from Atlanta on the 31st, stopping about halfway down near Jax and then continuing the rest of the way to FLL on the 1st. (It's my vacation, damnit. I wanna take it easy. )
We're staying at the Quality Inn Cruiseport South (free parking and shuttle). Since it's along the way, we're probably stopping at Nicko's Ribs on the way down or the way back north.
Currently planning on driving over to the beach party, too.

Drive to San Francisco (4 hours), Get on a plane at midnight local time, Layover in Houston, the arrive in ft lauderdale at 10:30 am on the 31st. Then fill my life with questionable decisions.

The Taco Beach Shack is attached to the Hollywood Beach hostel, 320 Arizona Street if my memory serves. It's about a fifteen minute walk down the beach from Riptide.

I'll be hanging out between Riptide and the Taco Bar on the 31st, so maybe I'll see you there!

I knew this was all going too smoothly. Just got a text from Delta that the first leg of my flight has been delayed by 2 hours...and I had a 2 hour connection.

I'll still get there (there's three other flights from Atlanta to Ft. Lauderdale tonight), but it won't be nearly as smoothly as I had hoped. Bah.
