I stay in Ft.Lauderdale but party in Miami.

Last year I rented a car and drove from Fort Lauderdale, but this year I'll uber it up, from Hollywood though, so it's a bit closer.

I'm booking flights and hotels this week (I'm procrastinating so hard), but I'll be staying either in Hollywood or near the port. If enough cruisers are taking an Uber down to the party, I could be persuaded to tag along. I miss swimming.

AirBnB duuuude! So much cheaper. Unless you've had bad experiences with it in the area, or idk prefer hotel amenities. Mine were $50 or less a night. You can get even cheaper with hostel style ones but fuck that, already rooming with randos on the cruise, a night to myself will be nice.

AirBnB is kind of a lottery but with good odds. You can have a bad experience, but most of the times it is absolutely great. I understand Phoenix's point of view, I feel the same sometimes. Depends on the mood/occasion, but the whole privacy thing is neat to have, even if it implies paying more for it

glad I had free cancellation! decided riptide was too $$$, got a airbnb for half the price close to the port. I get there three days before so ya I'm up for uber to the clevelander on the 30th if anyone else is into it.

Actually it's not! Surprisingly it came about long before those movies did, but now I get asked about it a lot! I love Astrid from HTTYD so no probs from me.

I know its not the safest but i'm flying out the day before the cruise, and should be there in the evening the night before we depart. I can't be gone too long unfortunately, so I am staying at a hotel close to the port for the night before, and the night when we get back with a flight the next morning. Wish I had more time though I would have loved to stay in the area an extra day or two and explore! i'm just hoping i'll have time and energy on the day we get back to do stuff that day as we are supposed to dock in the morning. I'd love to go to see the everglades.

You should be okay with a flight the day before; people do that a lot for cruises. If something goes wrong, you'd have a chance to get rebooked for later that same day or if all else fails, on an early red-eye on embark day.

We are currently planing Disney after the cruise as our return flight leaves from Orlando on the 7th.

The night from Feb 4th to 5th in Quality Inn & Suites by the Lake. And then from Feb 5th to 7th at Disney's All-Star Music Resort.
So Disney most of the time.

My plans changed :)

Will now be flying into FLL the day before the cruise and staying near the port.

Then after the cruise renting a car and driving up to Orlando, staying at the Wyndham near Disney Marketplace.

Haven't decided which day gonna visit universal yet but either the 5th or the 6th of Feb :)
