Apparently, they have an event where everyone wearing the free cruise t-shirt drinks for free.Pellaz wrote: ↑Mon Feb 18, 2019 4:07 pmWe want a full report on that, please.![]()
(I was amazed at how much more expensive Star Trek: The Cruise is, compared to 70K.)
True story. We got unlimited beer, wine, and Bahama Mamas during that deck party. My one friend literally just started putting beer cans in his pockets lol.Godflesh wrote: ↑Tue Feb 19, 2019 9:06 pmApparently, they have an event where everyone wearing the free cruise t-shirt drinks for free.
I can’t even.

Interestingly even if announcements started today, it would not be close to the earliest they've started up.
Obviously the first one was a bit of an aberration, but the first announcements for that one were over a year in advance.
Here they all are in order of most-days-out-from-sailing.
2011 - 18 December 2009 402 days from sailing
2015 - 15 March 2014 313 days from sailing
2014 - 31 March 2013 301 days from sailing
2020 - ???????????????? 301 days from sailing (and counting)
2012 - 17 April 2011 280 days from sailing
2016 - 25 June 2015 224 days from sailing
2013 - 27 June 2012 215 days from sailing
2018 - 03 July 2017 213 days from sailing
2017 - 08 July 2016 208 days from sailing
2019 - 31 August 2018 154 days from sailing
What happens if you remove 2019? Looks like the trend would flatten out to around 225 days to go.Donutsauce wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 10:51 am
Even after removing the first one the trend isn't looking good for the impatient :-)
I hit right at 200 days for 2020 if you remove 2019.
Lol, yep. Both of my guesses were way too early.
That dreaded SOON word! I absolutely hate hearing that word now, haha!
Good luck convincing the Skipper; HE's the one who keeps using it.Bob wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2019 2:41 pmThat dreaded SOON word! I absolutely hate hearing that word now, haha!
Please someone pick a new word.
Synonyms for soon:
directly, early, instantly, promptly, quickly, rapidly, shortly, speedily, presently, anon, any minute now, before long, betimes, by and by, coming down the pike, ere long, expeditiously, fast, fleetly, forthwith, hastily, in a little while, in a minute, in a second, in a short time, in due time, in short order, in time, lickety-split, on time, posthaste, pronto, quick, short.
I'm kinda leaning towards "SHORTLY"
