After the inaugural 70000TONS OF METAL in January 2011, some of our survivors conceived the “Cripper Award” – named after the band CRIPPER, the award is bestowed on the best band that had been previously unknown to most Sailors before sailing on The Original, The World’s Biggest Heavy Metal Cruise.

In the spirit of this award please welcome CRYPTEX from Germany, TOTAL DEATH from Ecuador, and TOUCH THE SUN from Canada on board 70000TONS OF METAL 2017.

But wait! It’s not over just yet, we have three more just over the horizon… This time its going to be “W” from South America, “S” from North America, and “D” from Europe. Guess away Sailors!
