I went to LA for the Helloween show, and then changed my flight home to make sure I'd get to the UTA show in Seattle the next day. So glad I did that, even though they were announced for 70k a few days later.
Ah, I'll miss Alien, as well as Dark Funeral I didn't mention, since both play on Nov 9 in town, when I am flying over to Helsinki for one of my Hypocrisy gigs.gnoff_the_creep wrote: ↑Tue Oct 16, 2018 3:56 amChecked some upcoming gigs in town
Not sure how big Alien got outside of Sweden, but in November they are celebrating 30 years with the debut album, and will play it in its entirety. Been a long time since I was into Alien, but figure I might spend a night down memory lane.
It was unbelievable. Glad I had the chance to meet Alex, even take a pic with him. Show was immaculate.BlackToothGrin wrote: ↑Mon Oct 22, 2018 4:58 pmHeard nothing but good things about Alex Skolnick Trio... gonna have to try and catch it sometime! Something a little different.
Can you believe they did NOT play We Are The Sleep in Houston? Oh, the atrocity!
You were lucky, then. I think they changed the setlist a bit between cities
