    War Sucks

by Disaster Area » Mon May 31, 2010 2:03 pm

Memorial Day here in the US. My thoughts, War: what a needless waste of humanity's potential. Necessary at times, but never glorious...
The photo is me and my boy at the American cemetery in Normandy back in 2007. RIP all those who gave their lives to appease megalomaniacs and defend against tyrants.

Think of how many wars are started and how many lives are lost due to religious disputes!
    It's sickening!

Oh man, don' get me started on this on the cruise. I will launch into a tirade that would even make Robb envious at it's length...

    I have

    No problem with God

    BIG problem with religion

haha I believe it man! I've been known to do that as well..

Anyways, the closest I've gotten to a 'religion' (more of a scientific way of thought) is Secular Humanism.

That definitely doesn't qualify as a religion, but that is me all the way. I've read up on it before, but had forgotten about it. Not to be mistaken for religious humanism, which is just more crap

Yeah it's definitely a good way to think (in my opinion), but at the same time someone could think of that what I think about most organized religion. It is all subjective and personal after all..
