We never heard from that scouting party.
So more finns to be announce or they couldn't get a deal with Sonata Artica or Wintersun?

Destruction isn't a half-bad addition. Gotta admit, though, I just listened to Pretty Maids today for the first time and couldn't take more than about 2 minutes of it. The first song I heard started in with some Jesus stuff, in a really super cheesy way. I cringed and turned it off.

Of the names being thrown around, I think Kampfar would be cool. And I'd just like some Black Metal, of course.

I just hope this new scouting party doesn't get as dreadfully lost as the last two seemed to get. How long were they out? A couple months? We'll get our next announcements after we actually see the bands.

I think 70k has run out of things to show us on the ship and the pictures of cruisers from the earlier cruisers.So maybe all that is left is scouts and confirmed bands.Unless they want to show us pictures of the rooms with balconies and the pictures of the more expensive cabins to help sell them.

Well, there's no real threat of an arctic winter here. Damn, we don't even have any snow yet (except for Lapland). So, we might hear from the scouting party sometime in January. If they have (either of) those two bands, I wouldn't mind if we never heard back from them.

I'd think Immortal is ruled out due to their lawsuit (Abbath vs. Demonaz and Horgh) over the rights for the band's name.

The Black Metal band has to be from Oslo - even the name of the picture posed is oslo_scouting.jpg. So my bet is it's gonna be either 1349 or Aura Noir. I'd love it if it was Dimmu Borgir but... I can't see it happening, I guess this time it's a pure Black Metal act.

To sum things up, right now we have three scouting parties from which we are still expecting news:

- One in Oslo, probably bringing 1349 or Aura Noir.
- One somewhere in Sweden. Several possibilities. Fingers crossed for Scar Symmetry.
- One in Finland. Clues point to Sonata Arctica.
- Also not sure if there is one scouting party still in Hamburg but we can expect for sure a band from that city. Gamma Ray seems the obvious choice, but Unisonic, among others, is also a possibility.

The band is a complete stranger to me, but according to Metal Archives they play Black/Thrash Metal, and same for Metalstorm and even Wikipedia.

1349 is ok, Divided is great and a wishlist band. Trollfest, as much as I like folk metal, is meh.
