Stuff You DON'T Want to See on the Cruise?

I'm not talking about the bands. I'm talking about behaviors.

By all means, do whatever your evil heart desires - no one can make you do anything except the ship security guards etc.

Last year after the 2014 cruise there was a massive thread on the FB group about people behaving poorly. Everyone got riled up about it and many people put their two cents into the topic. What kinds of things do you guys not wanna see onbroad the ship?

My main three would be:

1. Throwing up in places you shouldn't throw up in (pools, hot tub, bed, etc). I get that sometimes it happens quickly, but if you think you're getting green maybe find a receptacle to catch it at the very least?

2. People goofing off by the outside railings or pretending to throw someone over a railing. It would be terrible if someone accidentally went overboard

3. Butts covered up in the dining rooms.

And I think that's about it for me. What about you folks?

Otherwise, yeah, appropriate dining room attire. Ass cages and string bikinis have no place where everybody is eating/sitting.

I'm pretty easygoing and not bothered by a whole lot, but I can say that I would rather not deal with THAT guy. You know what I'm talking about, thinks everyone who doesn't have his exact taste in music is a "poseur" and talks shit endlessly. It was a huge shock when I went to a show in Florida because the metal scene where I grew up everyone was mad chill, and the Florida peeps were... less chill let's just say.

I'm not a rule enforcer by ANY means, so feel free to do as you please... but yeah, it's not that I have an issue with asses. It's just that I don't know where they've been and they don't really belong at the table.

Karate/Scene kid moshing is another one I can agree on.

Being my first time, I really don't know what to expect. I don't mind eating while there's people in bathing suits around (being brazilian helps with that. We always get that kind of stuff around the beaches here), but the "puking in the tubs/pools" sounds scary hhahahahahaha. I get that, as someone said above, it happens fast, but we should have a sense of decency and do that at least where we can't hit anyone hahahahaha

70K is an awesome festival specially because of the people.

I would hate to see some assholes trying to ruin it. And i've found one man.. one f# retard that started to say a lot of sh#t about one singer in particular. He said "i won't watch this show because the singer sucks" (we were on the front row, 5 minutes away from the beginning), and i said "okay. i like him." and he started saying a lot of terrible things about the singer and how everyone who enjoyed him or his band doesn't know a single thing about metal. most people didn't understand him, because he wasn't talking in english.

the one and only bad episode i had onbroad.

THIS is what i don't want to see.

I, for example, don't really like Black or Death, but I know their place in Heavy Metal and respect the shit out of that. In fact, I'm actually thinking about checking some of those shows. I'm with you guys, I don't really like people that talk shit about other bands, we are all going to the same place to watch the same shows, eat the same food and drink the same beer. We don't need negativity like that, we have to respect the different tastes. Hell, we're even sharing the pool! ahahahahahahaa

Right? We're all in this for the same reason! I guess there will be a LOT of people hitting on the chicks tho, drunk or sober hahahahahaha but that's just part of the show, we just need to be respectful

Agreed. I understand that there is a certain amount of friskiness and sexual tension on the boat, but definitely keep it in your pants and don't harass guys or girls if they give you the red light to stop it.

(Ps. did anyone bang on the really rocky rainy day last year? Must've been quite the cabin mambo, I must say.......)

Being negative about a certain band member, band, genre or whatever is okay if it's done constructively. By that, I mean, sure let's discuss our views in a respectful way. Can't stand folks who act like their taste in metal is the only way. Frankly, I don't care if the only thing you know is Whitesnake - if you're here to enjoy the shows I think that's great.

And yeah, sex in public? Use your cabin.

Respect the individual boundary: Don´t touch anyone that doesn´t want be touched, Don´t push anyone that...., Don´t throw anything(beer, soda, pillow, vomit) in people you don´t know.

I don´t have a problem on how people dresses but respect the code.

Yes - respect the ship!! It was a disgrace on how the public areas looked like last year. From the bathrooms to the pool deck to the lounge. Use the trashcans for fuck sakes and ashtrays most importantly.

And I have to agree with the "dress-code" at the sitdown restaurants and for some reason this was also not enforced by the RC staff last year. I don't mind your thong, ass-cage or guys with no shirt on - but not in the restaurant. The buffet - sure, it's casual, but otherwise no.

I can never understand why people puke everywhere.Ok sometimes when somebody drinks a shot they can't handle their body might react so fast that they can't stop themselves vommiting straight away on spot,
But generally if you need to puke you know.Doesn't take long to find a toilet to throw up.
It's just sheer fucking laziness nothing else.
I always had rule when people drinking at parties i had.You get sick you clean it up or the person who brought you to the party takes responibility for you and helps clean it.

I was pretty sad to hear about this (though, I never saw it firsthand). Hopefully the majority of the guards at the shows will use some sense when dealing with any crowd surfing this year.

Someone mentioned weed. I personally don't have an issue with people who do it onbroad, but don't be a heat bag and hotbox your cabin. That's just rude and dangerous. Be discreet? I personally choose to go abstinent when I travel - just booze. Too afraid to get in legal trouble that far away from home, plus it feels great when I get back home that way.

For me, it would be the 8 or so cruisers whom for whatever reason dislike me due to jealously or are just plain hateful LEAVE ME BE.

I plan on having a great time with friends and the ones who have me blocked on facebook and visa versa are not my friends. I want nothing to do with their drama and negativity and elitist b.s.

So just to have a good time without people acting like assholes would be a nice thing to see. I try to get along with everyone. I apologize when I have done something wrong. But if you are going to be a bitch and not accept my apology and block me on facebook, then it shows your maturity level as well as yourself as a non-compassionate human.

That's all.

I like Ass cages, bewbs, etc hanging out (male or female) all over the ship, I do not care where they let it hang out. Have fun. Be yourself and most of all- BE NICE

Hey everybody, this is my first post so I hope I don't make some social faux pas here...

I just wanted to say that reading this thread brought a smile to my face.. I can already tell from everyone's attitude that I am going to have a GREAT FUCKING TIME! My girlfriend and I are newbies to 70000K and I can't wait to see you all on the boat.

I am also frustrated by the lack of announcements but I have faith... I only booked a few days ago after being a Total Pussy about it for the last 4 years.

Everyone is usually kool. I have never had any people problems on these cruises. This will be my second year.
