Well, I tried to arrange a match with people from this forum last year, but unfortunately the timings once onboard didn't really help and it couldn't happen.

While we were sailing the wind was - and will be - strong, which makes it quite impossible to play in decent conditions. I think the best chance of playing some decent match will be while we are stopped in Jamaica. Count me in, by the way, and probably some of my friends too

The basketball court is great. Was too windy last year while the ship was moving. But I was on it while docked in Miami waiting to leave and in Jamaica.
Should try to get a game on the go this year.

We brought our kids last year, ages 5 and 7, and we made use of the b-ball court. Other people were using it too, but it wasn't the busiest part of the ship.

forum meet-ups haven't gone so well for the past couple cruises - between the Muster Drill and bands starting earlier .... also people trying to get into their rooms ......... kinda sucks. but for the question of B-Ball yeah while the boat is moving not the best experience from what I've seen.

On that note while at bay or parked at port of call would be your best bet for a good game.

Awesome :) so going in early and playing while in Miami port sounds like a reasonable plan. Not quite sure about the day in Jamaica, you don't see Jamaica every day, it's probably wiser spending it outside. Maybe just a game or two.

It's the only thing half decent. Otherwise it's Dogfish and the big guys. I don't know how many years it will take us for Royal Caribbean to not insult our taste and get us something other than big beer onbroad.
