Hello! This will be our first year (2018) and I have read about the bookings for the cheaper (2 person) cabins selling out quickly from previous guests, what are the chances that the cruise sells out completely? I can practically taste the metal and am concerned about missing out! Also, anyone share a cabin before? Is it as creepy as it sounds? Thanks!
Hi there, and welcome! The cruise always 'sells out,' but there are always SOME cabins available up until the last week of sailing. You just have a lot less options than the veterans, and likely will have to plan on a more expensive cabin your first year.
Sharing a cabin is actually your best option if you want a cheaper way to get on board. It does sound kind of weird, but many people end up making lifelong friends from doing so. Trust me when I say, once you are on board, everyone feels like family. I can also say, that you don't spend very much time in your cabin except to crash in your bed/bunk for a couple hours, shower, and get back out into the mayhem. Your goal should be just to get on board, by any means necessary.
It is an amazing and life changing experience!
