Tiamat debuted on 2013.cowboy71 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 01, 2018 7:43 pmOther details about the bands so far.
2011 repeats Ensiferum
2012 repeats Coroner, Eluveitie, Tiamat
2013 repeats Delain, Ensiferum, Subway to Sally
2014 repeats Gloryhammer
2015 repeats Ensiferium
2016 repeats Delain, Eluveitie, Subway to Sally
So we have 7 of the 12 that are repeats, 4 of which are multiple repeats, 1 of which (Ensiferum) will now be a four-timer.
An even spread of nations, with 8 different nations represented already.
4 bands with over 300,000 Last.fm listeners. The highest being Accept with 493,500.
5 with under 100,000 listeners, the lowest being Gloryhammer at 35,000.
Black Dahlia Murder are the darlings (or should I say DAHLings?) of social media with the most facebook likes at 1.1 Million.
Three under 100,00 likes with Vomitory at the bottom there with only 38,000.
They just posted the news on Facebook.
I second that! These guys are great. I love their song "At least I'm drunk in hell"
Untrue,7 year hiatus,they forgot about 2012 cruise
Technically he was a guest on the 2012 cruise, while Robert Lowe was the official vocalist at the time. Now he's back officially as their full time vocalist after a 32 year hiatus.deathmetalpat wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 4:16 pmUntrue,7 year hiatus, they forgot about 2012 cruise, actually a downgrade I would have preferred Mats.
Out of curiosity, do you have the total (or estimate at least) number of unique voters in this year's wishlist?cowboy71 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 06, 2018 7:37 pmDoing a quick comparison to the 2018 cruise.
2018 we had 21 of the top 100(ish) acts ending up on the lineup.
7 of the final acts had zero requests for them.
5 of the top 20 requested acts were on the lineup. Also this year at the 18 band mark, there were only 3 in the top 20, and already one (Gyze) that had zero requests.
Figures are higher this time around - cutoff for the 2018 list was 12 bands, with the most being (as always!) Amon Amarth with 61 requests.
I should be able to come up with a fairly accurate figure :)bodomdragon wrote: ↑Fri Sep 07, 2018 2:48 am
