I have. It was fine.
Given the lack of announcements, I think the skipper is currently catatonic.
It amazes me how you guys all know who's all playing in each others' bands, etc... I barely know half the peoples' names I work with.bodomdragon wrote: ↑Fri Jan 25, 2019 3:17 pmSEVENTH. FUCKING. ANCIENT BARDS - their bass player is with NeO at the moment
TEMPERANCE - one of their two male singers is the new singer with Visions of Atlantis
EXIT EDEN - Clem from Visions of Atlantis sings with that project
DRAGONY - Herb their bass player also plays for Visions
TRICK OR TREAT - their lead singer is the new lead singer for Twilight Force
Damn fine signature!UltimoAviso wrote: ↑Fri Jan 25, 2019 9:04 am If ya need a band Andy see the link below in my signature \/
It should be noted that three members of HELSOTT will be on board.cowboy71 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 25, 2019 3:26 pmThat's 6bodomdragon wrote: ↑Fri Jan 25, 2019 3:17 pmSEVENTH. FUCKING. CIRITH UNGOL makes 7.
There you go skipper, we've practically completed the lineup for you!
That was epic indeed.
2019 became the worst 2nd (assuming Riot v is out)?cowboy71 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 22, 2019 2:44 pm ONE WEEK TO GO
2018 we had another 6 from this point
2017 we only had 2 to go
2016 we had 10
2015 we had 16 to go
2014 we had 5 to go
2013 we had 7
2012 we had 5 to go
2011 we knew the entire lineup!
So we are currently ranking 3rd worst in regards to most bands left to announce with a week to go (equal 2rd if we actually get 61 bands have 10 to go).
2015 we got 9 in the last 4 days, 2016 it was 9 in the last 5. So fairly recent history indicates that once we've reached this point we might not see any announcements until the weekend.
Really? For the first time ever Jeff Waters won't lead the All Star Jam?
It’s listed in the special events section on the website, but without Waters in the title. They did forget/neglect to remove his name from some other text though...
I know he is also married now and living in England. It may not have been worth it to him to come out from Europe just for the all star jam.
Maybe another band member will take over each year. I bet Andy Dillion from Mors would be awesome at it!Downvod wrote: ↑Sun Jan 27, 2019 10:23 amIt’s listed in the special events section on the website, but without Waters in the title. No more Jamming with Waters in International Waters. The event name was catchy
There’s no reason to assume at this point that there will only be 50 bands. There have been several years where there have been similar situations, and they always end up with at least 60.
Cheers!!!acidbasement wrote: ↑Sun Jan 27, 2019 1:20 pm I've officially stopped caring. I'm in South Beach and the weather is beautiful. I'm drinking a beer on the balcony and there is a drag show happening in the bar downstairs.
We're going to get the boat, the bands, the people...
Yeah, I'll have things to say on my comment form. But really, unless it falls apart on the ship, I'm coming back next year.
Andy: I don't care when you announce the final ten. Doing it while we're boarding is just as good as doing it now.
See you fuckers soon.
This is about where I'm at too, although I have a couple more days until I actually get to South Beach. Mentally, I'm already there.acidbasement wrote: ↑Sun Jan 27, 2019 1:20 pm I've officially stopped caring. I'm in South Beach and the weather is beautiful. A little over "Three" days. We're getting another three bands.
Please Andy, Tengger Calvary!!!Hoppy McGee wrote: ↑Sun Jan 27, 2019 2:23 pm The "T" in three and "C" in countries are capitalized. Probably means we are getting another triple announcement of bands from three different countries.
