Same. Just gonna get more excited as bands get announced
Started announcements 80 days from sailing, latest EVER. And after the first 15 days, we know 14 bands. Possibly the LEAST ever after the first two weeks (certainly in the 60-band-lineup era of 70k).
They did make announcements on Saturday, October 19, and there’s plenty of history to indicate weekend announcements are still in the cards.ollyhills wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2019 11:28 am So, unless I’m mistaken, we have just as many bands left to announce as we have week days until the cruise. With seemingly no announcements being made over weekends, I wonder if the plan was to get to this position and announce one band a day (excluding weekends) until the cruise?
Certainly there is LESS likelihood for announcements to be made outside of normal 9-5 work-week hours, but by no means can you rule it out.ollyhills wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2019 11:28 am So, unless I’m mistaken, we have just as many bands left to announce as we have week days until the cruise. 9-5? What time zone? I swear, the majority of announcements seem to come late at night.cowboy71 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2019 4:07 pmCertainly there is LESS likelihood for announcements to be made outside of normal 9-5 work-week hours, but by no means can you rule it out.ollyhills wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2019 11:28 am So, unless I’m mistaken, we have just as many bands left to announce as we have week days until the cruise. Historically announcements have occurred any day of the week, any time of the day.
I refer to Vancouver time which is I believe is where Andy is located. If you look at the time of announcements for this year, predominantly they are 9-5, Vancouver time. 10 announcements falling 9-5, only 4 outside that.Downvod wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2019 4:28 pm9-5? I mean, he's not building a railroad here. Presumably, hes just giving the all-clear for someone to make a social media post of a band that's been booked for months. It would likely to be better for his health to get all of this secret info off his chest, and all of the angry survivors off his back, no?
Things we all said when it was mid-September and we hadn't heard shit.Downvod wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2019 6:32 amI mean, he's not building a railroad here. This is also what comes to my mind. And if so, this also means that there were no other C-bands on his confirmed line-up to announce instead.
+1 ,COB had another show planned after the cruise and that got cancelled. So they were obviously taken by surprise.Don’t think that they have a lot of bands booked just because they are late ,they might only have 14 atm.
so many bands I'd like to see start with an A. Hopefully it'll be announced soon, otherwise the anticipation will drive me nuts.Danny24601 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2019 12:17 pm Nicenice, not amazing but quite nice.
Now A, that's a nice letter, with some nice rumours attached to it. Could it be At the Gates, Allegaeon, or Archspire? Or is it too much to hope for Aether Realm or Amorphis?
Someone in another thread said they talked to Aether Realm and they weren't asked this year. Doesn't rule them out necessarily, but I'd put them as highly doubtful.Danny24601 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2019 12:17 pm Or is it too much to hope for Aether Realm or Amorphis?
What happened last time? I saw Eluveitie there in 2016 and it was amazing
