mooyagi wrote:Memnoch, that sounds like a lot of fun. I rented a newer Dodge Charger my last trip I made to Boston and it was a fun ride. I also spent a month with a Mustang Convertible too the Charger was a better ride but the convertible was great in its own way.

We rented a Charger in Miami in January. Even if it is quite a good looking car, I have to say that driving-wise I'd choose my Volvo any day. I think it's like that with (almost) all 'Merican cars, the suspension is way too soft so the handling is terrible. Sure, we got the powerless V6 and I imagine (or hope) that the R/T is better on both power and handling.

Even if I want to get a muscle car, my next car will most likely be the Volvo C70 hardtop convertible as a sensible diesel version. Those do cost a lot though here so I might look into buying a used one (say, two to three years old). A new diesel one with automatic gears costs a bit over 60,000 euros (around 85,000 USD) here!

    Michael’s Bucket List.
Here are some of mine most of which involve traveling. Not in any order but would like to be able to do some day.

See the MN Vikings win a Super Bowl.
Go to Lambeau Field for a Green Bay vs. The Vikings game.
Go to Solider Field for a Chicago Bears vs. The Vikings game.
New Years Eve in New York City.
Visit New York as a tourist and take in a Yankees game.
New Years Eve in Las Vegas.
Go to the Rose Bowl Parade and game.
    Jazz Fest in New Orleans.
    Photo Safari in Africa.
Photo hunt of Polar Bears in Churchill Canada.
Sail the Cyclades Islands off Greece.
    Visit Germany for a while.
    Hike the Alps.
    Visit Italy for a while.
    Visit the Holy Land.
    Carnival in Rio.
Take another 70,000 Tons of Metal Cruise.
Find me a real nice SUGAR MAMA that can make all this happen. LOL
Some of these items are lofty dreams while some are more achievable.

Make it all the way up to New England in the fall! That way I can creep on you in person

 New England would be awesome, me thinks........ though Maryland may be more probable, due to having family. Plus........ I'd be afraid of you in person  . Marlo would then kick my ass! and I quite like the girl

If you can’t make the East Coast for Autumn colors try Minnesota along the North Shore of Lake Superior (Duluth area and Northern Wisconsin to Bayfield (Apostle Islands)) or along the Mississippi River Bluffs starting in Hastings and continue down to LaCrosse. Take in Red Wing and Winona. Timing for fall colors is everything. They come and go real fast depending on the weather. No creeping up on you while in this area.

    See and photograph aurora borealis
    Photograph fall foliage
Travel from the south coast of Norway all the way up north and then from there go to Finland and travel downward
Finally get an awesome sunset photo of Haystack Rock in Portland
Somehow save up enough money to not have to work and just focus on photography and drawing
Consistently have photo passes for metal concerts and maybe a photo or two published
Do a Pyramid trip throughout Mexico
Have a huge yard where I can have many adopted rescue dogs
    Try some under water photography

And go to: Antelope Canyon, Yosemite, Grand Canyon and Sedona again, Monument Valley, Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks

i'd rethink the 4 weeks in cali, hardly seems necessary to be there that long even though it's a big state. i think you could get the best beers there in 2 weeks.

Not this year, but hopefully withing a 5 year period:

Did the Amon Amarth California trip 2011
Did the Prague beer trip 2011

    Planning GABF this year

GBBF and the 5-year period still on the list

    New on the list:
    Barge to Hell 2012
    70k tom 2013

That's awesome that you followed up on your bucket list!

And I agree with Rhia, 4 weeks in California seems too long. Come to AZ!

Someone gave me a brochure for "Columbia and Snake Rivers Journey" which is a 7 day trip, mainly through Oregon and a bit of Washington. You go on a boat the whole time and stay it in. It seems really fun and like a pretty good photographic experience. Only catch is it's really expensive. Over $3000 per person for the cheapest option

This is definitely a bucket list item now

That Nat Geo cruise looks so cool. So ridiculously priced though.

Also, 4 weeks in California is too much. You can do it in 2 or 3 easily, Gnoff.

Probably do 2 then, after perhaps swing by CO again, since its starting to sound that 10 days will be WAY too little...
Perhaps Arizona too, gotta see my Mexican wife :P

Probably do 2 then, after perhaps swing by CO again, since its starting to sound that 10 days will be WAY too little...
Perhaps Arizona too, gotta see my Mexican wife :P

Sounds good! Hopefully I'll be around for it, in either Colorado or Arizona

We can make it happen. Hopefully for both cases :D
