In 2023 and 2024, when I saw Kamelot each time on their NA tours, I spoke with the band about 70k. Sean (and also the others in the band) mentioned both times that they really enjoys the boat and want to return every 2 editions as much as possible. If I'm not mistaken, since 2017, they have played each chance they could (assuming we follow the no-repeats rule). So maybe again in 2025? If it was up to the band, they would be on it.

They would make their 5th boat if they are announced. Ironically, same with Korpiklaani.

They finally released it and it makes me happy. I've been hearing Brian and Ty break it out during soundcheck and acoustic sets for years now. I don't think they're much interested in playing the boat anymore now that they've got pretty regular Japan tours set up for December. I'm still going to cross my fingers but they're definitely ruled for this year since most of the guys still work at jobs with PTO banks and Japan eats up 13 days of PTO minimum

In his post yesterday on Facebook, Christofer Johnsson from Therion ruled out any new tours until 2029, and mentioned that their current guarantee would likely rule out any European festival dates (although he didn't rule out any such appearances completely).
HOWEVER, when asked specifically about 70K, he said the cruise would be the only festival gig they'd really like to do because it was fun. Book 'em, Andy! Besides, I still owe Christofer a "real" drink!

No precedent in the 'letter clue' era.

If I'm right there have only been two previous cases of 'number bands', Three Inches of Blood themselves in 2013, and 1349 in 2015.

Both of those were back in the 'scouting party' clue days rather than the letter-clue days.

On socials they've said 3 Inches of Blood would count as a "T" clue. But we know that there's a disconnect between socials and Andy so who knows.

And according to the spreadsheet, those are the only two number bands ever and both during the scouting party era. Still unclear if 1349 would be a "T" (Thirteen Forty-Nine) or "O" (One thousand three hundred forty-nine) clue.

My guess is number bands would go off of pronunciation, but it's 70K. Making assumptions about announcements is about the silliest thing one can do
