I really thought it would be Sulphur Aeon. Disappointed for me, but happy for Seven Spires fans. Still plenty of bands to go, so I'm not giving up hope yet.Metaltrout wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 7:39 am Ouch that is about as far from sulphur aeon as you can get.
For sure! Something awesome will be coming over the next few days.GrannyElaine wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 8:00 amI really thought it would be Sulphur Aeon. AgreedMedolicVaralin wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 9:40 am Ya, Darkane would be absolutely sick! One of the most underrated bands. Expanding Senses and Layers of Lies are masterpieces and I think those first two are also brilliant. I am glad they are still making records, even if it is infrequent when they drop! If they were announced, I think that would get me to be all in too!!
Oh no, what happened to Anders?Swiss Jack wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 7:29 amDRACONIAN would be awesome... but unfortunately I know Anders is not able to make it to the US
For all the other quirks with this fest, I will say, booking special requests have always been relatively quick and easyAverageMetalDrummer wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 2:20 pm I don’t know if they’ll see this, but I want to say thank you to whoever handled my booking at UMC. I requested the same room that we had in 2024 and they set it up for us. Many thanks!
I've got enough to make me theoretically happy already.slayergeek wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 2:54 pm I am sure people would prefer Exodus, but how would folks feel about Zetro doing his solo thing on 70K?

They're probably a strong no since it would require travelling through the US
Yeah, I'm already at 4 wishlist hits. Persefone and Seven Spires hurt the most. C'est la vie.cowboy71 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 2:38 pm Close to the best first 20 bands for my tastes in 70k history.
Still not going though. I'm finding it easier to be sitting it out after now having missed one already.
Will be back again in the future at some point no doubt.
Hoping that the Australian Dollar will improve because with it currently buying only 65 US cents while not exactly making 70k unaffordable for me, it certainly makes it unjustifiable![]()
OG was in 2024 and Insomnium 2023 (w/ DT and Amorphis) so I'm thinking Insomnium is more likely of the Vanhala bands because of one more year in between. Though their latest album was released just after the 2023 cruise and OG's new album will be released sometime in the near future which on the other hand would make OG more likely.
Oh hell yeah! That's a good one.Andy wrote: ↑Sun Jul 06, 2025 8:17 am We traverse the empty, cold darkness and peer through the Cellar Door to find The Vile Delinquents, DØDHEIMSGARD.

I’d be down for that. I’d love it even better if we got Hatriot with Zetro.slayergeek wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 2:54 pm I am sure people would prefer Exodus, but how would folks feel about Zetro doing his solo thing on 70K?
I'd be OK with either that or Hatriot, but at this point, my opinion doesn't count. lolslayergeek wrote: ↑Sat Jul 05, 2025 2:54 pm I am sure people would prefer Exodus, but how would folks feel about Zetro doing his solo thing on 70K?
Not a big Gamma Bomb fan, which is good, because There’s already so much for me to see.
