    That clue could be almost any "dark" D band. I'd really like disbelief or Death to All. Others mentioned Dark Funeral or Dark Angel... these would be great but seem too obvious to me. I thought the "P"aradise clue earlier in the announcement cycle was Paradise Lost for sure, but we got Persefone. Who knows? Maybe it's "D"okken :lol:

    Ya, Darkane would be absolutely sick! One of the most underrated bands. Expanding Senses and Layers of Lies are masterpieces and I think those first two are also brilliant. I am glad they are still making records, even if it is infrequent when they drop! If they were announced, I think that would get me to be all in too!!

    Close to the best first 20 bands for my tastes in 70k history.

    Still not going though. I'm finding it easier to be sitting it out after now having missed one already.

    Will be back again in the future at some point no doubt.

    OG was in 2024 and Insomnium 2023 (w/ DT and Amorphis) so I'm thinking Insomnium is more likely of the Vanhala bands because of one more year in between. Though their latest album was released just after the 2023 cruise and OG's new album will be released sometime in the near future which on the other hand would make OG more likely. :D
    But anyway when I saw both DT and Amorphis being announced, my immediate thought was "Just announce InsOG and then Cemetery Skyline".
    Hard to say whether I'd prefer I or OG, because if there's gonna be Cemetery Skyline, there most likely won't be Insomnium Gatherum. Not so long ago I heard from a musician acquaintance of mine aka reliable source that Andy has a rule of max 2 bands per musician, which makes perfect sense scheduling-wise especially if it's similar like in 2024 with the scheduling of OG - I am the Night - Before the Dawn - Wolfheart & Markus, Juho and Tuomas.

    Yeah Vesa is cool too, I saw him many times with his camera and bunch of the other Finns of course onbroad. :D

    I go out for a walk this morning with the firm belief of "we hit 20 and Silver isn't even announced. Andy won't announce anyone"

    Andy just keeps proving me wrong in good ways.

    So far my only complaint about the boat thus far is that it was WAAAAY to quick of a turn around between when Black/Gold sales were announced and when they were.

    A total skip of a band for me and it sounds like the next one will be too, but that's okay. I'm already at a number of bands I want to see at the *end* of announcements

    Not a big Gamma Bomb fan, which is good, because There’s already so much for me to see.
