That's what I'm guessing too.
Very similar. tend to just rest up on the boat on shore day but would definitely make an exception for coco, especially if my son comes along with me again There is no WAY he would let me stay on the boat

I don't see 70K sailing on any other line than Royal Caribbean, he has a relationship with them. Also, the RC Freedom class is really the only ship that would work layout wise. On top of that Miami/Fort Lauderdale are the perfect ports since the airports there are right for international flights.
The Freedom makes perfect sense. It is a new boat, for 70K, while still being the same class of ship as the Liberty and Independence.
He's talking about a new port next year and I think the list of available, unvisited ports is growing rather thin. My guess for the port of call will be Perfect Day at CocoCay. A lot of the music cruises are going there.
Date wise for the Freedom the below are available for 4 day cruises...
1/2, 1/9, 1/16, 1/23, 1/30
2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27
My guess is 70K2023 will sail from Miami on Jan 9 onboard the Freedom of the Seas for CocoCay.

I don't see any of RC's other ships that are not booked being big enough for us. Hope I am wrong, I really enjoy RC and Independence. I think they treated us very well.
It's totally new! They've doubtless replaced the goth club with more cabins, tossed in a teppanyaki place, and more! :)
Agree! Freedom would technically be a new ship even if it's identical or almost identical to Liberty and Indy. To me Miami would be a good port too because I've always stayed at Miami Beach for few days before and after the cruise and also the flight connections to Miami are better than to FLL.
And back to the original point, my guess is that the first band announcement comes on June 15th. (very close to my birthday but not the exact date)I'm also curious about the new ship. If it's still Royal Caribbean I'd guess either of Indy's sisters, because the bigger Oasis ships don't have similar pool deck (the ship is open in the middle), but Harmony sails from Port Everglades and Oasis from Miami.
According to RCC's website Indy is sailing from Orlando in January 2023, so I'd guess we'll really go on another boat if and when 70K still will depart from South Florida. Indy's sister Liberty sails from Port Everglades and the third sister Freedom from Miami.
Rock Legends Cruise, that has historically sailed on the Indy from Fort Lauderdale, is sailing on the Liberty in 2023, with one stop in Coco Bay instead of the 3 normally scheduled.

Therefore I'm now with you, I think that's what 70K will do too, even though technically it's not a "new" ship.
