You don’t waste any time, we’re still on the boatcowboy71 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 8:26 pm LETS DO THIS!!!
A refresh of the rules/guidelines if you will :-)
1 - Keep your wishlist formatted to one band a line. It's easier for me to work with than comma separated (ie band a, band b, band c, band d)
2 - Happy for people to make additions to their wishlists! I just ask that you make them as a new post, as I cannot detect if you've gone back and edited your initial post
3 - No rules on numbers (you can make 1 request, you can make a thousand!) but please no "ballot stuffing" by requesting the same band multiple times. That's not cool.
4 - No limits on what you request either! You want to request Iron Maiden even though there is zero chance of them doing 70K? Go for it!
5 - No 'deadline' either - I'll keep compiling the data right up until the date of sailing, 2025. As always I will at some point "formally" submit the list to the skipper though, maybe around time the tickets go on sale depending on when that is of course.
2025 we had over 9,000 requests from 193 different people, and 2,638 different acts. There were 12 bands from the top 100 on broad, and 12 with zero requests.
Lets see if we can beat all of that (except the zero requesters!) for 2026.
Wow, a year out and ALREADY one off my wishlist is ruled out? THIS doesn't bode well LOL.Jabberwock wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 12:29 pm Although I think Beyond The Black are already ruled out due to touring conflicts, but anyway.
Fingers crossed! I feel like Ancient Bards may have a good shot with their comeback, or maybe that's just wishful thinking.cowboy71 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2025 3:00 pmWow, a year out and ALREADY one off my wishlist is ruled out? Fucking top tier wishlist btw - Ancient Bards, D'Artagnan, Exit Eden, Sojourner.... Some epic bands there that would be an insta-book for me if they got on the lineup.
I almost put Sulphur Aeon on, just for you.
